In other words, do I have a single subscription product entry in the WooCommerce inventory that grows each week, until I force to manually pull the oldest entries. Or, can multiple products in my WooCommerce shop be attached to a customer’s subscription purchase such that each associated product can be attached to a customers subscription and managed individually, based on when their subscription started – i.e. how many downloads do they get, how long is it available & how is it presented when available. I’m not seeing a clear path in sandbox for how to manage the digital product inventory such that subscribers are serviced uniformly & efficiently.
A more elegant solution might be to offer scheduled credits over the course of a subscription period, issued at regular intervals, that the customer then redeems for anything identified as a subscription item. Example: An annual subscription of $60 gets you 5 credits a month for 12 months. Spend ’em as you get ’em or save ’em up. Renew the subscription and the unspent credits roll over into the next subscription period. Then, every product in the WooCommerce shop gets a retail price and a credit price, with a presumably lower credit price (as in retail vs. wholesale). Pay the membership (subscription) up front and get a discount on anything in the store, buying them with your credits…or buying them retail, if all you want is a single item…and save your credits for later. This seems like an infinitely more elegant & simple solution for the customer and retailer, if it could be deployed…IMHO. If memory serves, this is a variation of Green Stamp model. If my coding were up to snuff and I had the resources, this is the solution I would attempt to code…and offer.
Any help’s appreciated.
]]>I want to force downloads, however once everything is configured when I click to download the link it seems to remove the first portion of the URL and uses only the content after the last / forward slash. How can I turn this off so the full link (the zip drive itself) is downloaded

]]>I’m creating a WordPress-WooCommerce web site allowing clients to purchase digital images and videos. After several tests the downloaded files keep coming in blank (47ko). Storage was tested on pCloud and Dropbox. Tried again by deactiving non-relevant plugins and reinstalling 2021 theme. No improvement. Any suggestions ?

]]>I recently installed RankMath on an e-commerce site for a client. After the initial set up, clients who purchased PDF downloadables couldn’t download their digital products. I had a hunch that there’s RankMath issue and deactivated it.
The downloadables started working again.
I’m wondering which specific setting should I look at to make sure that this issue does not happen again.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Have a wonderful day!
