CONTEXT – I’m trying to rebuild a company website with no access to the prior design (“Brazil” WordPress theme, but 3rd party built), so I’m essentially guessing at the margins / padding specs. I’m casually resizing the browser, unsure of when it becomes tablet vs desktop due to the responsiveness of text blocks and flat color background (mobile is a much more obvious shift). I’m still new-ish to Elementor and can tell it has a wealth of features, so maybe there’s a clever workaround to this kind of design dilemma (discerning layouts at a quick glance).
Also / Or… is there a definitive universal resolution size for when it jumps from one layout to the next across all potential browsers? Or maybe this too be customized per site / page in Elementor (or my WP Theme – OceanWP, specifically). Like 1200×800 or larger is desktop… I have no clue what it might be, I have a media background. Any tips appreciated!
Thanks all,
Brendan
I downloaded a fresh copy of Yoast SEO from the WordPress repository, replaced the flagged files with new copies, and ran another scan: Wordfence still flagged them, yet still showed no differences. At that point I ran Wordfence repair, which cleared the flags.
I then ran a manual Wordfence scan on another site I manage that has Yoast SEO, and sure enough, the same 4 files were flagged.
Not sure what’s going on there, but the two sites were on different hosts, and have no plugins in common other than Wordfence, Yoast SEO and BackWPup, so it does seem like a Wordfence glitch.
The files were:
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/languages/wordpress-seo-nl_NL.json
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/languages/wordpress-seo-pt_PT.json
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor/autoload_52.php
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor/composer/autoload_real_52.php
Also, I use the Elementor page builder. There’s a plugin for it that allows me to insert saved Elementor templates anywhere by way of shortcode. Do you know if I can use a shortcode to embed the content for my popup?
]]>I have discovered this great plugin…
We are a group of friends that are just installing a website using this great plugin for to organize fifa16 championship on PS3 and PS4.
Son we have decided to configure the parameters on “custom” and the events on “player vs player”.
The difficult comes when we try to understand what is the difference between a “competition” and a “season”?
The other thing is that we have seen that when you create a “classement widget” it only supports “seansons” and not “competitions.
So, please, can anyone explain the difference between “Competition” and “season”? and when it is necessary to use one of them?
Thanks a lot for help and big thanks for create this great plugin

]]>First of all, thank you for developing and maintaining this theme, it’s cool.)
We are using 2.0.9 version of your theme, and now you’ve released version 3. It would be great to know what are the main changes and differences between these versions. Where can that information be found?
Best regards,
Alex.
I’ve got everything installed and running so I go to write my first post and click on “Posts”. Then I notice a default “Welcome” page… so I start Googling what I should put in a first post and what I should put in a “Welcome” page and they pretty much sound like the same thing… Then I come across the “About” page and search on that as well, and it sounds pretty much like a Welcome page… Then there’s the “Home” page, which sounds a lot like a Welcome page. But if that’s not enough, someone mentions a “Splash” page, which I can only assume is the same as a Home page, which sounds like the Welcome page…
So… Which is which and what’s the difference?
Thanks for bearing with my noobiness.
Regards,
Lance
Portfolio on wordpress.com has excerpts. Also links inserted in excerpts are rendered as links. Which when using TwentySixteen is very nice. And useful.
For example HERE.
And obviously someone has though of that and developed it. On the dot com site of the wordpress universe.
But we on the self hosted/managed site of the fence we have none of this functionality?
Is this customary in the WP world? Dot com side has it, but dot org side has to add/develop it ?
Please advise…
