We discovered an issue whereby disabling Dashicons causes strange behaviour in Event Tickets Plus and The Events Calendar. See note below why we are posting here when using Event Tickets Plus.
All plugins and themes are up to date.
To reproduce the error:
Disable Dashicons using AssetCleanup (or another method)
Problem:
Culprit:
Since it is common for people to unload unnecessary resources to speed up page load time, we believe plugin CSS should not be dependent on things like Dashicons. Many speed optimization plugins offer the feature to disable Dashicons, for instance.
Can you please let us know how we can remove dependency of your plugin on Dashicons, so that our site appears correctly for logged out users, and doesn’t show unnecessary warning messages?
We don’t want to slow down our site with Dashicons when we are not using it. We are comfortable using our own icon font file if need be.
At the following link you can see a solution to a similar problem with another plugin that broke with Dashicons disabled, in case it helps: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/code-used-to-fix-dashicons-bug-resulting-in-error/

]]>I’ve been using the QSM plugin to create quizzes on my WordPress site, and I’m encountering an issue with the contact form placement in a newly created quiz.
Here’s the situation:
I created a quiz in my native language (https://co3app.com/pages/hu/regisztracio/) with two pages, each containing one question. At the end, there’s a contact form that users fill out before receiving an email. This setup works perfectly.
Now, I’ve created a second quiz, which is independent from the first one, but it’s meant to be an English version of the original. All the settings are identical to the first quiz, including the layout with two questions followed by a contact form. However, in this second quiz, the contact form appears right at the start, even before the first question, instead of showing up at the end.
I’ve double-checked all settings and can’t figure out why this is happening. Any help or suggestions on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
]]>thank you for creating this amazing plugin.
I am trying to display only one of the HTML fields based on the value in the calculated field.
Based on your answer to a similar question on this forum, I’ve tried this
(function(){
var result = fieldname9+fieldname10+fieldname11+fieldname12+fieldname13;
if( result <= 5 ) return ‘fieldname19’;
if( result <= 10 ) return ‘fieldname20’;
if( result <= 25 ) return ‘fieldname21’;
})()
but doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried to define dependencies but sometimes I would get 2 HTML fields to display.
What I am trying to achieve is :
if calculated field = 0 do nothing
if calculated field <= 5 show fieldname19 HTML content only
if calculated field <= 10 show fieldname20 HTML content only
if calculated field <= 25 show fieldname21 HTML content only
and a second question would be :
How can I set the button (fieldname17) to be active/clickable only if the Acceptance (GDPR) (fieldname16) is ON ?

Are you planning to get rid of the dependency on the jQuery library and just switch to pure JavaScript? Thank you.

]]>Your mileage may vary however; if you run a site serving up a large number of images, it might be just fine for your needs as long as you don’t care about running an unoptimized header image. The CDN works fine but didn’t improve my PageSpeed score, as I only had one or two other images besides the header graphic on the whole site, and they weren’t very large to start with. I’m a little wary of CDNs anyway because they introduce a ‘dependency’ into your website, meaning your site forever afterward will depend upon the CDN working properly in order for your own site to work well for your visitors, and you’re screwed if the CDN breaks or is attacked or goes out of business or gets sold to another outfit that then wants to charge you big bucks to continue using it. In theory a CDN is a good thing, but in practice does have those risks. That’s just my opinion though and I’m not faulting this plugin for using a CDN, because it did work fine for my site even though it did nothing to improve the PageSpeed, and I willingly introduced the plugin knowing it was creating a dependency.
So I Deleted Optimole and sought some advice from a brilliant Aussie web developer who recommended that I should use the “Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster” plugin instead. Bingo, my PageSpeed now runs 99 or 100% for desktops and I’m happy. The mobile device score usually runs 93 to 95% and that’ll do too. Woo hoo I finally got a zippy WordPress site! I had almost given up hoping it was possible!
]]>The lodash package used in this plugin as a dependency has known security issues and should be upgraded to at least 4.17.21 version.
I saw that the packages provided here and on Github use an old and compromised version (2.4.x).
As a Dokan and WPML user, i’d appreciate that WeDevs upgrade this plugin and provide a secure version.
