Deleting uploaded files is not working

Hi,

After uploading files, when I click on delete, a “deleting…” message appears, but the action does not complete. The console shows an “Unauthorized” error.

Please help me fix this issue. I have attached an image for reference.

Delete more than 25 messages at a time?

The email log page shows over 12,000 failed messages in over 500 pages (probably spam addresses). When I use the bulk select option to select all and delete, it deletes only the 25 messages visible on the screen. I can’t spend two months deleting messages, so is there a way to delete all 12,000 at once?

Deleting an Order Status

When a “Order Status” is Trashed, any orders with this status disappear from the order list.

If Restored, they appear again.

?If Trashed and permanently deleted, the orders forever disappear from the order list page. With no way to bring back, unless manually go into the database and add a new order status to that order.

Proper QUICK FIX SIMPLE functionality should disable and block the ability to trash an order status that is currently in use or assigned to an order.

ADVANCED functionality should ask user what order status to switch orders to that have the trashed status assigned.

moving pages to draft from published but still visible

Hi our website is a bit of a mess with many old pages. I decided the best thing was to unpublish some of these by moving them to draft, instead of potentially causing havoc by deleting them.

That way I reasoned that if there were any issues I could simply republish them, but if I went a year or so with no problems, then I could probably safely delete them.

One of the issues we are having is that Chat GPT etc is working off these old pages and so is rather out of date about what we are doing now, and answers as if we were doing the old stuff we used to do.

The problem I am having is that despite moving them to draft, I have realised they are still visible. Visibility is set to public, even though I move them to draft.

Should I change visibility to private? I just assumed if you move it to draft it’s not available for public consumption but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

If anyone has any better ideas of how to do this I would love to hear them. Also, is there a way of seeing pages that have no links to them? then I could safely delete those ones.

It seems like every week or two another submit button shows up at the bottom, and the option to delete them under other options (which works in all the other fields) does not show up.

Elementor keeps deleting itself from my website

Since tonight the elementor plugin keeps deleting/removing itself from my website. I have tried to use back-ups of my website, but it does not work. It just keeps doing the same thing.

Does anybody know why this is happening. Is there a major bug in the plugin???

Deleted post on wordpress (self-hosted) still shows up on fediverse feed?

I saw an old thread about this issue where the suggested workaround was to trash the post, restore it, then trash it again but that didn’t seem to work. Tried it a couple times, waited to see if it just needed time and still no dice. Tried other things (unpublishing/drafting the post then reposting and trashing, etc) still no good. So I tried just permadeleting the problem post as a last resort… but it still didn’t work… and now my fediverse feed has a ghost post that I can’t get rid of and it shows up for any new followers who scroll back through my post history.

Luckily it was just some testing posts that only said, “testing” and stuff, but it’s still really messy and unfortunate that I can’t find some way to delete it… is there any sort of workaround to delete posts on your fediverse history that are already permadeleted on wordpress?

I also tried clearing my cache but no luck there. I use a self-hosted wordpress (easyWP) if that makes any difference.

While working on custom FSE theme, on Front page template in block editor, I used “Save Changes” option in sidebar. This completely cleared my template instead of saving into it, leaving only block reference to header template part. The template is complex, having many blocks and one video block. I hope you can reproduce the bug.

when deleting reviews from the review list page on my website, does it actually delete the review from Google as well or is it just hiding the review from what shows on my website?
