How to Delete Twenty Twenty Theme

I’ve used a paid premium theme for years. This week, finally deleted a handful of old themes I’d uploaded to check out years ago.

All of the old themes successfully deleted – except the theme Twenty Twenty.

I’ve tried deleting Twenty Twenty numerous times. I’ve also tried deleting the latest Twenty Twenty update from my account, yet each attempt fails.

I’ve also tried first activating the Twenty Twenty update But even the update itself fails.

Anyone know how to get rid of this bad theme? And its equally faulty update?

Hello, I recently installed a plugin ( big social ), and it made major changes to my interface on my wordpress site. I lost all the default menus in the desktop area. I read that if you backup your site and go to your php admin and delet the plugin, you can reload your site and re-install wordpress. Well I talked to my hosting and my wordpress site in still live, but when I open the site the menus still are missing. How can I reset wordpress to allow to show the default menus in the desktop area so I can make changes to the website?

I have two plugins listed in the Drop-Ins. One is the Advanced caching plugin. I used to have that on my site but I deleted it as it is flagged as not having been updated in over two years and it didn’t work especially well anyway. Is it a plugin that doesn’t clean up after it is removed?

I need to reduce the number of plugins I’m using and I’m deleting all the ones that I don’t currently need. How do I delete the Advanced caching plugin? It isn’t in my list of plugins on the site.

Deleting a plugin and re-installing won't clear memory

I have a plugin and i want to start over from scratch. When i delete the plugin it will ask if it should delete all info and such and so i do. But when i re-install the plugin it still has the data in it. I cleared my browsers cache and tried again but nothing works. Any tips?

Sanitizing remains of uninstalled plugins

For a while I’ve used a plugin that is outdated. I did deactivate it and the uninstalled it. However, when looking at my files through the FTP I can see that the plugin name is still in my directory, together with my other plugins that is still active. I see this for both the plugins Realaccessability and Woo Commerce. I’m not using any of them, though I have used Realaccessability before.

Yesterday I received the error:

Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File “/…./…./public_html/wp-content/plugins/real-accessability/real-accessability.js” doesn’t exist.

This was actually what made me discover the “leftovers” of earlier plugins.

My question is if just deleting these leftover subdirectories/plugins via my cPanel or FTP is a secure way of deleting the leftovers? Or should this be removed through a appropriate uninstalling procedure?. Or is there maybe a plugin I can use for this (I’ve searched but not found any).

I’ve found several plugins for cleaning up my database, and I’m currently using WP Optimize, so my question is not regarding the cleaning up of my database/tables. My question (before attempting this) is if I could just go through my plugins and delete any files/subdirectories (leftovers) with plugins I’ve most certainly deactivated and uninstalled through the normal deactivation and uninstallation.

(I realize that the error code which I receive not necessarily has anything to do with my question, as it could be a caching problem/css/js-minifying issue.)

Plugin Issues with installation / updates / deletion

Hope someone can provide a little guidance on this, as I’m having a fair bit of trouble with Plugins at the moment.

I currently can’t install, delete or update plugins, and get a variety of error messages.

For example, the error I receive for updating existing plugins is:
An error occurred while updating WordPress SEO: Could not remove the old plugin.

When deleting redundant plugins there’s:
Plugin could not be deleted due to an error: Could not fully remove the plugin(s) wp-sitemap-page/wp-sitemap-page.php.

When adding new ones its:
Could not create directory. /var/www/booxweb/html/wp-content/plugins/pluscaptcha/

Could this be a permission issue with my hosting provider??

Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

Still getting "Login" Nav Link after deleting TML

I deactivated, then deleted Theme My Login across a Multi-Site install because it was causing conflicts with the New Blogs Template plugin. However, once deleted, I’m still seeing the “Login” link in my nav bars, redirecting to a page that contains only the following short code:

[theme-my-login]

How do I nuke this page? I can’t seem to find where it’s hiding.

So let’s start from the beginning… I had a blog. I updated it to 3.0.1, and something went wrong. I had the following error come up when I tried to log in to my dashboard:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/t/a/j/tajharia/html/wp-includes/general-template.php:372) in /home/content/t/a/j/tajharia/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 890

I tried everything in the help forums, tried a few things my hosting company offered up, but nothing worked. I decided to delete my blog and start over. I deleted everything, and reinstalled everything. I am using the default template, and only have one blog post up. I updated a bunch of plugins and now I am having nearly the same problem again.

I can log into my dashboard, but cannot update most areas. I cannot add pages or update my general settings, I get the above warning. When I try to do a post, I get the following warning:

Additionally, on the top of every screen, from the dashboard to the blog itself, in the left-hand corner in very small print, is the website url. From the http to the .com

My blog is pretty useless right now. I don’t know what exactly caused this, and I don’t know how to fix it. Any help out there?
