Mistakenly Deleted Admin account

Our membership WordPress site was attacked by a bot that created thousands of memberships. Not clear what the scam was but adding a Captcha to the registration (not a feature available when we first created the site, so didn’t know it was an option) seems to have stopped the registrations. I was manually deleting accounts through the WP interface and realized it would be faster to delete 5,000 accounts through the database.

Did I back up the database? No I did not.
Am I dumb? Apparently.

There is apparently a glitch in the PHPMyAdmin tool because I

Searched for names that only have fake accounts, e.g., Abilgail
Selected all 500 visible
Clicked delete
and the program just decided to select the first 500 users in the database rather than the specific ones I selected, but only gave me the “DO you want to delete this list of user numbers?” rather than the names
so I unknowingly deleted my admin account from the php database which started with an “A”

That was the only admin account so I can’t log in. I manually added a line to the database with my username and password but, either it’s slow to propagate or it’s not working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Recovering a deleted plugin

I am attempting to identify a plugin I deleted a few days ago. I am not sure what its name was. It allowed media links in WordPress to be put into a post via a custom HTML block so that a small circle of an author’s headshot showed next to their name on every post on the site (udreview.com). Please let me know how I can figure out which plugin this was that I deleted and would like to reinstall. Thank you

Can’t create invoice for order that had its previous invoice deleted

I have a Woocommerce order and was going through the process of creating invoice for it. I deleted the invoice to let the customer create it by themselves. Unfortunately now the system thinks the order has an invoice but the field is empty and there are download/send email buttons. Clicking them results in error – no document found.

How can I recreate the invoice to this order?

Bug: mail only on deleted, notrejected

We were wondering why the user does not get a mail when a booking is rejected, so we had a look in the code…
It seems like there is no “rejected” mail template, only one for “deleted”, although in the backend it says “Benachrichtigen, wenn die Reservierung abgelehnt wurde” => rejected

So for all who are wondering: if you click “reject” in the backend, not mail will be send.
If you approve and then delete => mail will be send.
Of course, makes no sense, but seems like the code is wrong in this case…

probably, it should be:

All my plugins have disappeared

Logged in this morning to find all my plugins have disappeared. How do I go about reinstalling them without losing products and customer details for woocommerce.

When I try to install woocommerce again I get “Could not create directory error”

Everything is deleted from website after auto-update

I’m stunned. After taking the entire week to build out this site, everything I’ve done so far is now gone after Elementor auto-update. I’ve never enabled auto-update before, and man alive am I regretting it. I’m trying not to panic, hopefully there is a resolution for this. The thought of starting over after struggling so much to figure out how to make simple changes in the first place is beyond discouraging.

Where is my Home page saved?

My site is not yet published. I used a template to create my home page. Then I accidently changed it back to the default template home page. When I go to the Home page in the browser, I see the page that I created. But it’s not in the Page list – Published, Draft, or Trash. I can edit it and save it, and it says it saved. But only from the browser. I can’t find in it the dashboard. Please help!

Created a New theme that overwrote previously posted pages

While creating a new page I created a new theme. When I was done with the new page theme I pressed post and accidentally had the new theme posted to every page. Now all my previously posted pages have been replaced with this new one and I am not sure how to get my previous pages back. They are still there by name, but all the content has been replaced with this new them.
