Hello, dear Reader,

yes I read it: Think before you make a post here.

Unfortunately, 2 years ago I didn’t know that my strange link which I posted here as I wanted to correct it now is kind of a link to my website. For some reason it is well noticed and I get a lot of ‘error pages’.

Therefore I am asking now: Is it possible to delete the post or at least write the link in a way that it doesn’t work for backlinks?

I have read through the Codex, and I am aware that deleting posts is not something that moderators do without a good cause, but I am hoping to get two post taken down because they are showing up so high in search engine rankings:

I just posted a bug report on the forum and need to edit it straight away.

I have read in the forum that I have 60 minutes to edit the post, which doesn’t seem to be working :/

I clicked the edit link as soon as I realised what I had done, which just redirects me back to the forum homepage and not the edit screen. I tried tit a few times, logged out and in again with the same result.

Can anyone help?
