According to this guide, I should: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-fix-the-sidebar-below-content-error-in-wordpress/
Does your specific post or page content has
blocks in them? Make sure that they are properly closed.
I don’t know how to close it.
I recently added an AdInserter widget on my default sidebar for media net ads.
However, this widget shows only on homepage, nowhere else. The rest widgets of the sidebar work all OK everywhere.
When I enter Customizer and check around, the widget seems active everywhere, but it actually does not show in posts or other pages.
Is there something I am doing wrong? I thought default sidebar is same everywhere.
Thanks

]]>After adding a sidebar using the plugin, I am unable to set it as the “default” sidebar, screenshot: https://puu.sh/pebIa/5b42106dc5.png
Do I need to create a custom child theme sidebar as you mentioned in Other Notes:
“Some themes register different sidebars for their page templates, which means there isn’t a default sidebar that can be replaced. To use Simple Page Sidebars in this instance, you can create a child theme and force page templates with custom sidebars to use the default sidebar.”
Thanks so much!

]]>Within my website, there are 2, 000+ individual product pages. I want to change the sidebar on each of these pages. Currently a ‘default’ sidebar is selected for each page. https://i.imgur.com/NVk3A3Y.png – here’s an image of what I mean.
You can see what this default sidebar looks like by viewing this link:
https://resapol.com/product/cementseal/
I want the sidebar to appear completely blank, as seen in this link:
https://resapol.com/product/rbs-bluelease/
The way that I achieved this was to go into the indidividual product page and select a blank sidebar.
However, I obviously would rather not do this for 2, 000 individual pages; is there any other solution to this problem? I was thinking of editing the ‘default’ sidebar so that it is blank – however, I can’t seem to find the sidebar within the widget options.
Is there a solution to this problem, or do I have to change each sidebar one page at a time?
Thanks!
]]>Noticed a small hitch with the name the side bars are named:
1. The default side bar in WordPress is named “Main Widget Area”. The widgets I place here defaults on all pages. When I load fruitful theme, the widgets that I had loaded in “Main Widget Area” are appear in “Main Sidebar”. I have no problem with this.
2. However, the widgets that are placed in “Main Sidebar” are not used as default on all pages. As a matter of fact, in fruitful theme, there is no site-wide default side bar at all.
Will greatly appreciate if this is rectified in a future edition.
Once again, great theme. Keep up the good work!
]]>This happened when what appeared to be the 10th comment was posted. (It wasn’t actually the tenth comment, but appeared as the 10th in the recent comment section of the default sidebar.) Ten was the original setting for comment limits in this section.
I don’t know if my combination of widgets proved too long for the sidebar and thus forced the widgets up or if there is another problem, but I resolved it, at least for now, by changing the comment limit (as well as the recent post limit) to 5.
I’m sharing this in case the developer needs to fix something or in case someone else runs into a similar problem. Or perhaps someone has a suggestion as to why this happened and direct me to a more appropriate fix.
Thanks.
]]>I couldn’t find the appropriate template tag for a sidebar item I wanted so I used the Dashboards drag and drop feature.
After using this feature, the styling got all screwed up and it added margins or paddings somehow overwriting my custom stylesheet.
Obviously this screwed up my spacing and overall look so I tried removing them and simply reinstalling my sidebar.php template but it still has the newly embedded margins or paddings that Dashboard added.
So before I completely tear down my wordpress theme and recreate the database with a fresh install, does anyone know where dashboard writes these changes to so I can attempt to roll back my layout?
Everything I looked at after the dashboard screw up didn’t show a modified date so I couldn’t pin it down. Is this written in the database?
Any help would be great!
