Issue with tax / default location not loading immediately

This woocommerce / wordpress issue has only arisen recently. When new customers (without any cookies) view the website, all prices are shown without tax. Once a single item is added to the shopping cart, though, from then on all items are shown with tax included. I suspect it may have something to do with the default location setting, as this has been set to the store location and this seems to only take effect once an item has been added to the basket. What should I do to ensure the prices are shown with taxes immediately?

Settings wise, all woocommerce settings are set to show prices with tax included. Default location is store. Tax is calculated based on client country (though changing this setting does not help). There is only one tax zone, which is the same for all countries (all 21%).

Default map location not working

I have set a default latitude and longitude so that I can have all locations fit within one window. If I delete all my listings, then the default lat/long work fine, but as soon as I start adding listings it defaults to the easternmost location instead.

Location: value ‘location’ instead of ‘default’

Sometimes, after saving some values, the value of the id of the default location changes from ‘default’ to ‘location’.
Then the alert could not be shown.
I don’t know how to solve it

Search for location passed via query string on load

I’ve successfully used the wpsl_search_input filter to add a “location” query string, which does populate the location search field as expected. However, the default search results are still displayed, and the user has to click the Search button to initiate a search on the passed-in location.

Is there another filter or action that can be used to trigger the search on page load to use the query string instead of default values?

Setting the default location no longer seems to be working since last upgrade. Even though i can see what I’ve put in the template setting, it still shows as “anywhere” when pulling in the jobs.

is there any way to specify the default storage location if I choose to upload a file? I know its possible to specify any location simply by adding the path manually, but it would be great to be able to choose a location and use the build in upload function.

Adding a Listing Outside the Default City

Hi,

I set the default city but I have a listing in a suburb and I’m not able to set a place outside the main city, it seems. I click the “Set Address on Map” button and I get a popup that says, “Please choose any address of the (CITY NAME) city only.” where “CITY NAME” is the city that’s the default city in the settings.

I tried removing the default city and it won’t let me.

I’m kind of wondering why a places listing/post is dependent on the default city. This makes no sense but maybe I don’t understand something. Please explain it to me or let me know what to change.

Hello, My main map I chose one city called Tacoma, then decided since I can only choose one city that I will then choose Portland. I have changed the default location in the setting for GD but still cannot see the change on the home page. Even my Portland listings show on Tacoma map, please advise.

Good day Sirs,

We are using the GDmap feature on planetabuja.com/directory.

Recently the map stopped showing(continuous loading) and when I go to appearance and uncheck auto-zoom, it shows the map, but goes to a location in Germany. My default location is set to Abuja, Nigeria.

Kindly help us to resolve this.
