hello! I have a car lot that wants a inventory page as well as a wholesale page. Both pages have different inventory. I have the “Cars for sale” page set up, but I need to know how to create a “wholesale” page and create a separate inventory list to display on that page. Please be as specific as possible on the walk through please.

Trouble getting dealership vehicle entries to show

I purchased the dealership theme for my dad’s used lot. I assigned each vehicle entry I wrote up to a category and assigned those categories to the menu bar. That way I could have cars, trucks, SUVs and vans all under their own pages. However, when I do it that way the vehicles listed (under the cars page, for example), just come up as the names of each car which are clickable to show you a more detailed description along with pics of each. This is illustrated in pic 1 below. However, if I make a page called inventory and then assign all posts to appear under that page then I get an actual vehicle entry of each which shows a little bit of description and a pic of the vehicle to the left side. This is illustrated in pic 2. When you click on that type of entry you are then led over to a fully description of the vehicle just like I mentioned earlier. I want to be able to have the categories all listed on the menu bar, but once you visit that category (again, cars for example) you see not the text only listing, but the latter type of listing I just mentioned. Can anyone help me with this?

How to custom make this AUTO theme into an AUTOTRADER marketplace

Hello community, im looking to build an online marketplace pretty similar to autotrader.com.

After researching a lot I just came with two themes that grabbed my attention, one has the functionality and the other the looks and design, my main question is how can I mix them to obtain the best of both worlds?

GOOD DESIGN THEME is AutoTrader by THEMEFUSE (lacks marketplace function with frontend submissions)

FUNCTIONALITY THEME is AutoDealer by THEMEDEPOT (has FES but lacks design IMO)

So basically I want the AutoTrader theme with Register-Login, Custom forms to submit vehicles and membership or pay per add plug in at the end to submit listing. Any ideas on how can I accomplish this?

Believe me, Ive made my homework and researched SEVERAL plug ins but it seems after lots of trying and error I just got even more confused

I tried some Register-LogIn, then redirecting to blank page where I inster custom forms and then redirecting to a membership plug in but it just got a mess.

Using WordPress for a Car Dealership site

I’m having immense difficulty finding any information on creating an actually decent car dealership website using WordPress, Drupal, or any other free website platform and I’m in desperate need of help.

I would like to keep my costs to a minimum. I already have a company that creates a feed of my car inventory that is live and viewable on our current site, cars.com, autotrader.com and other sites.

I would like to create a wordpress site that I can just import that feed directly to it, but I DO NOT want to use the CarPort app. I can’t believe they charge $1000 a month to use it. Insanity!

Any help is appreciated. If there’s a better way to go about doing something like this, please inform me. It seems as though the car industry’s online presence is so backwards and convoluted. It’s so hard to get any information on developing something like this.

Car dealer site search plugin?

Hi guys, I’m looking for a plugin to allow me to display a search facility on the front of my website.

I want to display two drop down boxes

1. Location
2. Type of event

People can then search using both or one of the search options.

I’m guessing there will be car dealer plugin out there that are used to search for cars using colour, make, model ect??? Which I would use
