How do I separate the Databases of Sites After copying the site on same server

Hello There,

I have copied a site in plesk from one domain to another by using their Website copying feature. Both sites are running on same server. Also changed the urls from the wp_config.php. My problem is when I make change to the copied site, it also changes in the site I copied from. I want to make the changes in the copied site, not in the copied from. Is there any solution?

[nextgen gallery] wrong path after changing directory

Hi!
We’ve just moved our installation following the standard procedure.
Everything works fine except for nexgen.
When we try to insert a gallery or access the other_options menu we receive an error. To the eye they simply doesn’t show but console speaking we have oursite.com/wpwp/plugins/…
Even after a reinstall we are stuck there.

I reinstalled the plugin a last time and now the ngg_options line in wp_options are empty and the ngg_options page get me an:
Exception thrown

not defined for ExtensibleObject

I’m pretty confused at this point.

Any suggestions?

This is the ticket I sent over a week ago with no response but
This is my issue that is still reoccurring despite me having the latest version, and I assume my ticket wont get any response since its been over a week, but can you please at least tell me how remove all the data from the database? Or at least the prefixes of your data?
That way if the issue has been corrected in the more recent versions. I can re-install and try again.
Deleting the plugin still leaves data, because when I uninstalled and re-installed, my settings were still there.

Server update broke WP dB

Every WP site has been affected and not all the same and some not at all but the ones that are broken are similar, the pathing is messed up. One site doesn’t display any images but the navigation and pages work. Another the front page works but all navigation is broken.
I am not a PHP MySQL expert by any means but I’m thinking I just need to repair the pathing issues so I need to know what tables to update or better yet maybe there’s a plugin or tool that will help me fix them.

Hi all,
I’m sort of new to wordpress and searching through plugins to find what I need is proving overwhelming.

I’m setting up a site for a nursery that sells a variety of plants, and need some way to have each variety listed (in a table form or otherwise), each with a description and picture. Is there a plugin that would help me do this? I don’t need shopping cart functionality, just an easy, organized way of displaying them that could be updated by someone with little experience.

If there is a plugin that could import this information from a spreadsheet, that would be even better…but not required.

Install problems w/godad

I hesitated looking for help, but try as I might, I can’t get going. Followed the instructions precisely, with all revisions made to my wp-config.php file. Even completley deleted the entire upload, starting again…
Upon pointing to install.php, I receive the following:
“Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL which is required for WordPress.”
Assuming an error in my wp-config.php as in incorrect host definition, I removed the file all together, and ran install again, and got the interactive wp-config.php file builder. Entered correct DB name, user name, pass, host…
Upon submission, receive the message: Error establishing a database connection.
MySQL db is version 4.1
My hosting is Windows…. is that the problem?
Suggestions?

Imported b2 evo, and then I can’t make new categories?

Hi!

A couple of days ago I switch from b2 Evo to WP. Yesterday I finally find out how to import all my entries from b2. And I had a lot of categories, since I was having multiply blogs on evon.

Before I imported evon I had set up like 20 categories myself for the new blog. However. As soon as I imported the Evo succesfully, I get a message, when I create a new categori that says. You have no privilegde to create categories.

Where did it went wrong? I have been cleaning up empty categories thru phpMyAdmin, and there it works.

Then I noticed something else. That all those categories I have in the database, includning the one I set up myself is not showing in the WP-admin.

What I’m I doing to solve this problem?
