Today we have setup Woocommerce so that processed orders gets deleted (well, anonymized really) in Woocommerce after a duration of 2 years to comply with GDPR and our own privacy policy.
However, during a recent internal GDPR audit we became aware that orders and transactional customer data transferred to Mailchimp seems to exist “forever” on your platform, unless we manually delete it.
I am surprised that Mailchimp on its own does not provide any tools for handling this?
So now I am wondering whether it would be possible to delete/anonymize data synced from Woocommerce to our Mailchimp profile once its also deleted/anonymized in Woocommerce?
Having Woocommerce decide when an order/transactional customer should be anonymized (as per our settings), and then having Mailchimp following suit would probably make more sense (and be a lot faster to develop), than having separate controls for this in Mailchimp.

Form entries are stored and I can move entries to the trash one by one or with the bulk actions, but I don’t see an option to permanently delete the entries.
How do I do that? For GDPR there needs to be an option to permanently delete them.
Thanks

With the GDPR into place, you may not store personally identifiable information for an unlimited period. You can only store it for the time you need that information.
I’d like to suggest a form setting where you can specify the period it may be stored. After that time it should automatically be purged from the database. Something like the data retention setting in Google analytics. https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=en
]]>Thanks for the plugin. I have found that in case of a submission error the data of the content field is not retained and a blank form is loaded. Is there any way to ensure that the data fields still remain populated even if the page refreshed to display the error so that the user does not have to type everything all over again?
Thanks!
