But I can’t get into the dashboard. It seems like my login data is not recognized. But there is no error displayed.

]]>When I access the ./wp-admin page or “Dashboard” page, it always jumps to the frontpage, eventhough I have logged in wordpress. (logged in wp through clicking ./wp-admin on cPanel)
However, if I disabled “all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall” plugin, then it works well.
Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
I have tried: “remove the plugin” > “reset all settings” >then “re-install the plugin” (prompt error message after installation..)
the error message starts with “Dependencies check failed:…………..”.
Any solutions?

Can you guys kindly look into this and update your plugin’s code to properly reflect the item that needs an update? In this case, Wordfence’s Dashboard Notification should state: “A translation update is available.“

]]>I’ve been running WP sites forever and have never encountered this. I can log in to my site with the admin credentials, but have zero admin control. The only item in the dashboard is a link to Content Aware Sidebars, but I’m “not authorized” to view that plugin.
This site is one I built for a client, and lives on a server I don’t control. It would seem that the client shared admin credential with her host (a local homegrown hosting company) and gave the guy the admin password and username, and he decided to lock me out, or…
Somehow the site has been hacked. None of the content has changed, as far as I can tell, but that may be on the horizon if I can’t regain control. ]]>
