a) using a smtp email plugin
b) reconfiguring the to and from lists
c) removing caching from my wpconfig.php file
I get the test emails that are sent through the smtp plugin, but I am failing to receive any emails as the contact form is used. Can someone help?
The domain in question is Tedmartinez.com

]]>Which basically said do this:
1. download an existing copy of entire site.
2. Installed a new wordpress site on GoDaddy server.
3. Obtained mew connection string details (for user, password and host) and amended wp config file.
4. Used FTP to transfer over the copied files of my wordpress site to goDaddy server.
Reading some other documentation – I notice that I should perhaps also change these settings too:
WordPress address (URI): and Site address (URL) – i.e. to the new location address?
I have not done this, so not sure what to do now.
Is there a script I should run in MySQL to amend my old address to the new address?
Here is what i currently have, and then i will ask what i need.
I have a BigCommerce site (mystore.com), registered with GoDaddy, and hosting at BigCommerce. I have a www.remarpro.com blog setup on another domain provider and host called 1and1.com (myblog.com).
HOW can i create a subdomain called blog.mystore.com using my wordpress blog at myblog.com, but show blog.mystore.com in the address bar (ie: blog.mystore.com/new-post/, /post-2/, etc)??!!
I have tried creating a subdomain with godaddy, which redirects to myblog.com, but it doesn’t work. i have tried creating a subdomain with bigcommerce and CNAME to myblog.com. and i STILL get a 404 error.
ANY help is greatly appreciated as i have been tackling this problem for a long time now. i am by no means internet/network savvy.
Thanks again, and i hope to hear from someone soon.

]]>So here is my problem. I am a relative newbie on wordpress. I have installed the latest version to a root directory on a GoDaddy hosting account. The admin section works fine. except that when you click the blog title link on the top left it goes to a default GoDaddy “welcome.html” page. I tried changing the wordpress and site URL in the general settings tab on the admin page which then locked me out of my own admin. So uninstalled and re-installed wordpress again to the same result. I deleted the GoDaddy file from my root directory and am still having the same problem. PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks to anyone who can help me out with this.

(on a side note this whole thing started when I was trying to migrate a wordpress site I had designed already to the aforementioned root directory. Which backfired severely and I lost ALL of my work!!! – If you are new to WordPress, I recommend reading EVERYTHING YOU CAN about moving a wordpress site prior to attempting it!)

Could someone please help.
]]>I’ve tried multiple times to contact the author of the Multiply plug for help, but I get no response, so I am hoping that the WP community can help me.
I’ve set up the plug in and followed the directions exactly as the author describes on his site and I still can’t get the blogs to display.
For quite a while I was getting errors due to my host’s (GoDaddy.com) file structure. I am past all that now but all I get when I click on the “View Site” link from the Dashboard, all I get is a blank, white page. No error messages … nothing. Just empty cyberspace.
So far, I am trying to set up two blogs (and I’ll set up more if I can get this problem solved).
The direct link addressess are as follows:
https://news.eternalsky.us/wordpress/chronicles/index.php
https://news.eternalsky.us/wordpress/edwood/index.php
Luckily, the main blog still comes up perfectly. it’s address is:
https://news.eternalsky.us/wordpress/index.php
This page shows what I want to appear for the “chronicles” index.php
Is there anyone that can shed some light on my problem?
Thanks!
