I am offering meal deals on my website where customers have to select different options for different days. For example, on Tuesday, they can select either chicken or steak. I need a way to easily see all steak orders either on the backend of the site or in an exported report so our team can quickly see the number of meals they need to get for each option. The issue is these are technically the same “Meal Deal” product – just different options selected within that product. I was planning on using the extension Extra Product Options for the selections, but I need a simple way to see the total number of orders for each different option. Any suggestions on the best way to do this? I’m very open to additional extensions.

Filter as horizontal list instead of dropdown

Hi everyone !

I’m using the filter bar addon to display event categories. I selected the horizontal layout but the filter is displayed as a button that triggers a dropdown / popup with multiselect form.
I would like to display the categories items directly as a horizontal list since I have only three categories so a button + dropdown is not necessary.
I don’t even know If I have to work on the filter bar template, the css or the javascript, I’m a bit lost
Any idea ?

[Estatik PRO] File Customizations Needed

I need to modify some files by overriding them in the theme-child, but I can’t. For example, the original directory is wp-content/plugins/estatik4-pro-1/includes/file-i-want-to-edit.php
I tried to copy the directory structure into the child theme like this: child-theme/estatik4-pro-1/includes/file-i-want-to-edit.php (file edited)
This is the standard method for overriding files in the child theme, but it doesn’t work. The site continues to use the original files in the plugins folder.
It’s not about templates, otherwise I would have used the method from the official documentation, which is to create a folder called estatik4 following the original structure. Despite this, I also tried this way but it doesn’t work. What can I do?

Creating a page which lists custom posts with custom fields

Hi,
I’ve just started working with WordPress two months ago and my first website is coming along nicely.
However, there is one problem that I can’t seem to fix.

I have a relatively large volume of so-called “custom posts”, which I would like to list on a “page”, with some of the custom fields shown next to the title of the custom post.

Let’s say the custom post type is called ‘concert’ and I’d like to show the custom fields ‘date’ and ‘location’ along with the title of each custom post.

I do have ACF and ACF Views (unpaid versions), but oddly there doesn’t seem to be a way to do what I want, or I’m just missing something.

Your help would be highly appreciated by me!

Question about theme styling

I had a question about potential repercussions concerning how block themes and theme.json handle CSS. I’d really like to move to Twenty-Twenty-Three, but I’m concerned that the styling no longer comes from an external stylesheet. From what?I can tell, all the CSS that is generated?(through theme.json and the settings selected in the site editor UI)?are handled using inline styling or internal styling, and at times !important is added to the generated CSS. As a designer, I have a strong focus on creating sites that are?as?accessible as possible, and I know that some website visitors need to be able to override a website’s styles with their own custom style sheet. This leads me to wonder if block themes might create an issue around a website visitor’s ability to override the styles set.?I may be confused or misinformed and it may not be an issue at all (which I really hope is the case!),?but I thought I’d ask.

I also wonder – is there a problem with adding a lot of CSS through either the external stylesheet or in the ‘Additional CSS’ option in the site editor? I understand WordPress is encouraging people not to rely heavily on adding CSS and instead to make style changes in the site editor or theme.json, but is there some sort of technical issue that would result if I styled Twenty-Twenty-Three in an external stylesheet??
