?Altamente recomendado!
]]>I’m using the business version of TranslatePress.
The site is originally in Dutch.
Force language in custom links is on.
Use a subdirectory for the default language is on.
English is dragged to the top of the “All Languages” list, so international visitors land on the English translation.
When writing a new custom post, in the original Dutch,
I am adding an internal link to the paragraph.
Using the standard “Insert/edit link” WordPress menu, I type part of the post I want to link to, in the original Dutch language, upon which WordPress shows the Dutch post in the dynamic list.
Clicking that Dutch title post however inserts an English (translated slug) link, without the /en/ subdirectory in the url.
This is not the desired behaviour, as the link will now link to the English post from a Dutch page.
When I drag Dutch to the top of the “All languages” list in the TranslatePress settings, I can insert Dutch links (also without /nl/ subdirectory, but they work).
Disabling the “Force language in custom links” does not make a difference, it will still insert English slug links, without subdirectory /en/, into Dutch posts.
Is this a bug? I think it should default to inserting the original language link when writing a new post.
Thank you!!
Regards,
Raphael
]]>First of all thank you for this great lightweight plugin. I have an issue on one of my client’s websites with translating menus. A menu item of type “custom” (it’s an anchor) is not displayed translated although it is translated.
See the translated menu item (for you – für dich) in the backend here: https://link.storjshare.io/jw64oiyiryhft2kdxmcnxmbxobuq/nextcloud%2Ffalang-custom-menu-item.PNG
Here are the details. I also set title attribute but it doesn’t make a difference. https://link.storjshare.io/juempe2rkrf2fp7ar6fboyf55jcq/nextcloud%2Ffalang-custom-menu-item-detail.PNG
And see the menu item on the German menu here (current: for you – expected: für dich): https://link.storjshare.io/jxtseoosvncud7q3k6aqyccfcngq/nextcloud%2Ffalang-custom-menu-item-frontend.PNG
Compared to the “for you” menu item “that’s me” menu item is translated correctly in frontend. Any help much appreciated.
]]>It is now causing problems for me as I wish to link the primary/nav menu to certain areas of text (in what is currently a one page website) and the options to achieve this are not there whenever I try and follow instructions offered online – because the landing page does not effectively exist as a ‘page’.
Having already created what I thought would be the homepage, I do not want to have to reproduce it all from scratch on a newly created static page. Althoug I now understand that what currently exists cannot be the homepage due to it being a blogging / dynamic page, I am wondering if I can convert it into a static page which I can then set as the homepage – I figured that I might be able to do this by deleting the blog element? Copying and pasting the remainder onto a newly created static page?
Any help would be gratefully accepted, as I have been going round in circles for hours…
]]>I put the link to the subdomain in the main domains header menu under “custom link”
when I click “STORE” in the menu header – it takes me to the subdomain. However, it shows like this in the address bar:
https://store.raddadsavage.com/?_ga=2.140564402.1473710922.1680585616-2111153220.1648820762&_gl=1iq6mjw_gaMjExMTE1MzIyMC4xNjQ4ODIwNzYy_ga_XWZF835J0FMTY4MDU5NDIwNy41My4xLjE2ODA1OTUwNzEuNjAuMC4w_ga_Q7NYV92W1Q*MTY4MDU5NDIwNy4xNTQuMS4xNjgwNTk1MDcyLjAuMC4w
But if I just type in store.raddadsavage.com – it does not show all the numbers behind it and shows in the address bar normal
I have the permalinks in both domains (main and sub) set at “post name”
Has anyone had this issue or have a solution?
Thanks
]]>If we share a link of a specific horse, it only directs to the gallery level folder above because the URL doesn’t contain the horse’s name.?Is it possible to add the folder name to the URL?
And also, is it possible to change ‘bwg_album’ to ‘available’, so that the urls would show horserescuespain/available/horses/pirata
Let me know if these are possible.
Thanks,
Peter.
