No “Custom Home Page” Template Option

I’m following through the theme documentation, and trying to set up my homepage, but there’s no “Custom Home Page” template option available.

Why am I not seeing the “Custom Home Page” option, and what do I need to do to solve it?

Custom .html home page

Hi,

I am looking to use a custom .html page (main.html) as the Start Page. As it’s outside of the WordPress structure, it doesn’t appear in the Start Page selector in the Super PWA admin.

Is it possible to manually update the manifest file with the custom main.html page?

Custom front page gives 404 error

My custom home page used to work, but now it gives a 404 error on the regular and mobile sites. All the other pages seem to work fine.

Since the theme update 1.1.3.6 from may 22the, the section ‘OUR SERVICES’ from Custom Home Page shows the section vertical instead of horizontal.
It worked well in the older versions.
Any idea anyone?

Make Portfolio Category My Home Page on a WordPress Site

I would like to make the homepage of my WordPress site one of my portfolio category pages. How can I go about doing that?

The site currently has an under construction page up, but basically, I would like the home page (https://www.madelinebeard.com/) to load the content that is on the All Clients Portfolio Category page (https://www.madelinebeard.com/portfolio-category/all-clients/).

Is there a way to do this by modifying functions.php or through a plugin? Or, do I need to play around with URLs in .htaccess?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just want to make my home page a page on my site that isn’t categorized by WordPress as a “page.”

does WordPress support conditional statements?

I have a completely custom “Home Page” with some links to various other parts of my site. I also want to add a “Register” and “Login” link using my own code, so my question is, does WordPress have conditional statements where I can set it to only show certain code if, for example, someone is logged in or not? Translation with WPML

Hi there,

need help with translation with WPML.

How could i get a translated version of both Custom Home Pages?

For now it is not possible to change the Custom Home Page for example for German and English. If i write for example the text for Call out it can′t be changed on the Visual Editor for both languages.

I do two pages. 1 for german and 1 for english but it won′t work.

Did i do something wrong , please help me.

Change custom front page font in responsive theme

Hi there,

I have changed the type of font and the font colour of my site with the following code in my > CSS styles

body, div, p, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
  font-family: georgia;
  color: #7a4900;
}

But this hasn’t changed the body font on my custom homepage, though it changed the title. Not sure how to change this- I’ve had a few tries but as a newbie can’t firgure it out.

Any help much appreciated

Hello folks, I hope everyone is doing well. I’m trying to find a theme with a well-designed front page. Currently using ThemeZee theme but have used the same theme on client’s other website so he would prefer that I find another theme with similar or better custom page. Any suggestion as to how I find such a theme or perhaps someone has a suggestion for a gorgeous theme.
