I cannot get rid of this error message. When I try to preview a post I get it. I have been struggling for a week now. I just updated my theme and all my plugins are up to date. here is the message I keep getting.

There is an issue with synchronizing data. Please try the following:
-Go to settings> Permalinks and click “save changes”. This flushes your permalinks.
-Deactivate all other plugins and activate the TwentySixteen theme. If this fixes the problem there is a plugin or theme conflict. Please report on GitHub or support forums.
If neither of these things fix your problem please report on GitHub or support forms.

Please help!! I am in desperate need to fix this.

The “Subscribe to our newsletter” text shows up on my form, but no check box shows up. Any idea why it wouldn’t be visible? My site isn’t live so I can’t link to it.

If I’ve diagnosed the issue correctly, is there a function I can manually call when the form loads to initialize it properly?

However, now the form does not display on the back end of the website – either in the page editor where the form is supposed to be or the form editor.

In the form editor, it says there are 7 fields in the form. But when I click on Edit, nothing populates in the Preview field.

Please help!
