I want to change my category list in my list of post, and single post from “,” to ” “. I have already implement this code in functions.php

function custom_category_list_separator($list) { $new_separator = ‘|’; // Replace ‘|’ with your desired separator $list = str_replace(‘,’, $new_separator, $list); return $list; } add_filter(‘the_category’, ‘custom_category_list_separator’);

But it still didn’t work. I think it maybe different filter that this theme call for category instead of “the_category”. I have already read the docs, and still couldn’t find any info.

I want to be My Urls as Below:

Archive Post Type – https://www.sightseeings.co/food-beverages/
Sub Category – https://www.sightseeings.co/food-beverages/beverages/
Custom Post in “beverages” – https://www.sightseeings.co/food-beverages/butter-chicken/

Anyone Please tell me is this possible in Pods?

Today i install pods plugin, its working But when i open the page of created custom taxonomy, its showing 404 error

but created categories inside custom taxonomy working good

What to do to open main created category page?

The Results won’t pick the correct portfolio_category custom slug in the url

I am trying to use the plugin with Custom Categories i.e. portolio_category (Avada Theme), Categories show just fine in the Dropdown, but when selecting one, it won’t use the custom slug for the portfolio_category in the URL but the default one, hence not showing the correct results page.

My custom slug for “portfolio_category” is “tema” therefore for example when selecting the Category: “Piedras” it should direct to the URL: https://ns.inteldevign.com/tema/piedras however it redirects to: https://ns.inteldevign.com/portfolio_category/piedras resulting in a 404 error.

Suppose I have a Custom Tag. I wish this to only be available to Custom Post Types whose been assigned a Custom Category term.

Contrived example:
* CPT: Business. Term: Mario’s Italian, Chicago Doctor
* CC: Business Type. Term: Restaurant, Health
* CT: Cuisine. Term: Mexican, Italian
* CPT “Mario’s Italian” is assigned the Business Type CC “Restaurant” while CPT “Chicaco Doctor” is assigned the CC “Health”. “Mario’s Italian” should have the option of selecting one (or more) of the terms of CT “Cuisine”; “Chicago Doctor” should not.

Is this possible?

Hey guys!

Would it be possible to attach a custom redirect link to specific categories.

Example: Many categories have posts and they don’t have to be touched, as they redirect to a list of category posts. However, what if we want to redirect specific categories to specific links? How can that be done?

Lets say that we have a category called ‘OnePlus’ and we want to redirect it to about us page, is it possible?

Custom category page and woocommerce.php file

Hi!

I want to have a custom template for each product category. I’ve read your documentation and find this sentence:
If your theme has a woocommerce.php file, you will be unable to override the woocommerce/archive-product.php custom template in your theme, as woocommerce.php has priority over other template files. This is intended to prevent display issues.

I’m using a child theme from a theme that has its woocommerce.php file, does this means that I cannot customize my categories pages? Or could I do it without overriding the archive-product page?

Change ‘destination’ slug

Hi,

Further to my previous question regarding changing ‘destination’ text in breadcrumb (which is solved) I now face another challenge that the slug ‘destination’ is still there while browsing sub-category under ‘destination’ eg.

– mywebsite/destination/eastern-region/

which should be
– mywebsite/region/eastern-region/

mywebsite/region/ is accessible though, and list all sub-categories. But the question is – while browsing trip under those sub-categories returns ‘mywebsite/destination/eastern-region/trip-name’.

Add class to custom category

Hello,
I am calling custom categories in dynamic field in the divi theme builder for showing my custom post item. I really would like to be able to add a specific class to each categorie so I could add some icons. (ex Vegetable / Weather-element)
I am able to add the category name/slug to body class, but not enough for my needs. Is there a way to add an html value or a class ? someting like instead of returning just the name, returning custom category name etc ?
Is it possible with the extended version ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you really much.

Ocean WP Archive does not recognize custom post type Categories

Hi, team, I would be really grateful for your asap help. I’m using Ocean WP free version with Elementor PRO and CPT UI. I’ve created a custom post type Vacancies using CPT and then added some Categories to it using WP dashboard. I have renamed a built-in category Uncategorized to All Vacancies. So. The problem is that Ocean WP archive page “sees” only All Vacancies (Uncategorized) category and does not see other categories for custom post type. The problem persists both on built-in Archive page and custom Elementor Archive page template.

I would appreciate your soonest help!
