Examples:
Box A (20x20x20 @ 13 lbs) fits 45 of our 32 oz mugs.
Box B (24x16x12 @ 33 lbs) fits 100 of our 14 oz mugs.
and so on.
We’d like to specify the max pack count of mugs per box, per product and woo calculate and send the data for a live quote to (UPS or Fed Ex etc)
For instance an order of 200 of the 32 oz mugs, it would take 5 boxes (rounding up from 4.44) with each box sized at 20x20x20 each having a weight of 13 lbs each.
We’d need to set a specific custom box size, box weight and pack count for each product.
We’ve seen many plugins that are close, but none allow for specifying a max quantity per shipping box and allowing the second (or third, etc) box to be calculated. Seems they only limit a max quantity per order/cart, and we don’t want to limit the quantity that can be purchased.
USPS live rates plugin doesnt allow tying a custom box size to a specific product and flat rate table rates doesnt kick back live rates and neither allow to set the pack count per box and have the logic add another box to pull (& then display) a rate quote.
We dont ship via flat rate and native woo doesnt allow input of box dimensions when multiples of the same product are ordered, that would ship in the same box, with limits to how many the box can hold.
Weight based plugins also arent helpful, since our boxes are set by pack count, not weight and that would lead to inaccurate quotes and extra work in us having to calculate the weight of the mugs per box, for all of our items.
Any help is appreciated!
]]>So, I need a custom field, let’s call it “Subtitle”. How can you make such a field when publishing a post (post type = video)? I would also like to route this directly to the post page via “content-single-video.php”.
Plugin solutions won’t work!!! I am an ardent and formidable opponent of plugins and advocate 100% manual problem solving.
For the sake of God and his son Jesus Christ, do not offer me plugins!
]]>I am using WC Subscriptions and I would like to offer to my clients subscriptions plans that allow them to receive a custom box every month (for the custom box I am using the Custom Product Boxes plugin). Basically each month a customer can decide what to put in his monthly delivery by being subscribed to this service.
Is it possible to:
– make customers modify their product before their monthly delivery?
– modify the monthly order so that the products appear as decided by the customers rather than as the first they subscribed?
The first custom box is sold as a subscription so buying the same product would just activate the same subscription again. The custom product box should be modified each month within the subscription itself.
Thanks in advance!
]]>Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish:
1- Sell custom box/collection of items, where customers picks the items they want, Similar to WooCommerce Custom Product Boxes https://woocommerce.com/products/custom-product-boxes/?_ga=2.68410257.1811891283.1603725004-834731263.1603725004&_gac=1.128664190.1603725010.CjwKCAjwoc_8BRAcEiwAzJevtYiCwpwoizrHXxR_JcnnYryoLB11jYS0Rn4Ccxu-vxBSXRZBtMsCvxoC3nQQAvD_BwE
2- Have the ability to have the customer pick separate ship/delivery dates for each item in their box/collection.
3- Have the box/collection be on a subscription basis and automatically recharged to the customer. However, for every subscription period, the customer would have to be able to make a fresh selection of the items they want, and pick a delivery date for every item in their box/collection.
Sounds like a combination of WooCommerce Custom box and Subscriptions plugins. But I’m not sure if they quite work like that together or not.
Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you!

]]>Background info- I’m designing a website where I sell custom shoes that I paint on. I’d like to add some kind of box where people can type in what they want on the shoes, their email address, and shipping address and all of this information will be sent to my email.
I don’t just want them to comment on my site because I don’t want it visible to everyone- that’s what I thought it should come to my email.
In an ideal world I would have them fill out three separate boxes: their email, their address and what they want on their custom shoes, with a submit box coming to my email.
Any suggestions? Please let me know!!!
Thank you
]]>I’ve seen the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin and that seems to do the trick given that they have custom boxes, but I have a problem with that. Said plugin requires you to rewrite the entire info box again and again whenever you post – my site, on the other hand, has thousands of news posts that may focus on few games – making reposting a big hassle.
Hence, what I’m looking for is a plugin that may allow having a separate database for the info of the game, and then having an option or shortcode to include the info box everytime I post a new post. That way we won’t have to retype it every single time. Is there such a plugin that can achieve that? Thank you.
