/forumafrica.net/wp-content/themes/customify-child/bbpress.css
When I copied this path and put it in the css location field it did not work. I would like to know what I did wrong and whether there is anything more to be done to make things work for me. I’m using the theme Customify. And WordPress 6.0.1. And bbpress 2.6.9. Thanks in advance for your support.
]]>I read your support forum concerning customizing templates, yet I am still a bit confused on the part where exactly I can add custom CSS. Right now I had to replace your css file, but only changed colors , nothing more. I know that this is not what is recommended so I would like instruction on how to appropriately add my own custom stylesheet to a template so that the stylesheet is not replaced when updating the plugin.
I see your customizing templates support section titled “Adding CSS” that you have an image displayed of php code. Can you please be more specific? In what file do I add this code and exactly where on the page and between what other code do I add it? I can customize CSS and websites, but I am not a majorly skilled professional developer so excuse my ignorance if this is obvious and I missed it. A little more specifics should clear this up for me.
Also, I am using a child theme. Is it recommended I store all my custom my files in the parent or child folder? Right now I have it exactly as directed in the parent folder under sa_templates.
I am previously submitted request (through email) for support concerning the custom templates and logo not overriding, but see in the update that you resolved this issue. Thanks Dan for your attention to this matter. I must have not been the only one in which it wasn’t working.

]]>I am slightly confused. I am trying to edit my Smooth Slider CSS. Some of which is located in smooth_sldr.css but Firefox is saying that there is more CSS at root level ie:
www.frametechcontruction.co.uk
I cant locate any CSS files in my root directory and it is that CSS I need to alter as it is overwriting my edits in the smooth_sldr.css
Can anyone tell me where I can access this file???
Cheers
Phil
I have edited the style.css off-line and uploaded to the hosting server but in WordPress it still shows the previous version.
I just need to drop a font-size.
The style.css is in wp-content/themes/speechworks which is the file I should be editing.
When I look at the source code for the page the link to the stylesheet is:
and not
“https://speech-works.co.uk/wp-content/themes/speechworks/style.css”
Should I be editing another file?
Any help will be gratefully received.
Thanks, camel500.
