Tips for Customizing GeneratePress Header Section

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using the generatepress theme for a while now, and I’m really impressed with its lightweight design and flexibility. Currently, I’m working on customizing the header section to include a sticky navigation bar and a responsive logo that looks great on both desktop and mobile devices.

I’ve gone through the GeneratePress documentation, but I’m still running into a few challenges with the mobile responsiveness of the logo. Has anyone else successfully implemented this? If so, I’d love to hear how you approached it or if you have any tips to share.

Additionally, if you’re looking for ways to further optimize your generatepress site, I found the official?generatepress documentation?to be incredibly helpful. It covers a lot of advanced customization options that might be useful for others here.

Hi, I wanted to know if there’s any CSS code through which I can change the colour of each letter of a word once I hover over it.

Lowered h2 title for desktop, but phone is not positioned well

I used a snippet of CSS to lower the h2 titles on my Draw Attention map like this:
.layout-left .hotspots-placeholder { margin-top: 400px; }

It’s not viewing properly on mobile however. Can you suggest a CSS snippet I could use to raise the h2 title in mobile view?

Css on homepage not working, but is every other page

Hi! My custom css I added to “customization” section is working on every page except the home page… already tried clearing cache but thinking that’s not it since it’s only affecting one page. Thoughts?

I should also mention that it’s looking correct when I’m logged in… but “breaks” when I’m logged out.

I’ve read maybe flushing server cache?

Hide Green Price from showing up when selecting product variation?

Hi there,

Is there any way to hide the green variation price from showing up when a user selects the “CHOOSE AN AMOUNT” variation?

If you select an amount from the variations, the product cost appears in a green font underneath the drop-down…. is there a way of removing/hiding this?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Want to remove submit button movement on Hover

Site isn’t live yet. Still in development. I’m using OceanWP as the theme and using Lite version of WPForms. When I hover, the submit button moves slightly and appears to have a white outline. The CSS I’m using:

removing dark header overlay

I am currently working with BlogBell Pro theme, but their support has been unresponsive, so maybe someone here can help me. I’d like to remove the overlay on my header image for single posts. I’ve tried numerous CSS, but can’t seem to come up with the one that would work specifically for this theme. Open to any insights. Thanks.

Changing the height of a table

Hi guys,

I have an issue in which the field provided by ‘Fluent Forms’ has a very narrow “message field” like this which I want to have an adaptive/sizeable by the user or have set height but when the set heights become full it shows a scroll bar to the side of it.

I tried to add some padding with CSS hero but it didn’t work it! It looked like the way I wanted it to like this but didn’t function the way it supposes to work.

Not a programmer, don’t know how to write CSS or HTML but I am very an avid learner and can follow instructions. So I want help from you guys to help me with this or show me an alternative solution to this problem.

What I am using:
-Free Astra theme
-Elementor Pro

Change the colour of quotation icons and title line

Hi,

I’m looking to change the quotation icon colours from grey to a specific blue colour to better fit with the website theme.
The same with the title of the testimonial too if possible.

I’m using the modern theme.

I’ve seen no easy way in the plugin to do this, so am guessing this needs some CSS, but I’m not great at it.

Could anybody send me the CSS required?

Space below footer

Can anyone tell me what is causing the space below the footer on almost every page on my site? The footer part that says:

? 2020 KIRSTEN CORBETT
PRIVACY POLICY & COOKIES
LOGOUT

Should be at the very bottom. The space above it which I basically just set a background too is okay and should be there but the similar part below the footer should not. Any ideas?
