Error when trying to use Citation Style from the repository

I am using Zotpress to display Publications on this website: https://grafox2022.pdi-berlin.de/publications-2/

I have trouble with setting the Citation Style. It’s said that chosen style must be listed in the Zotero Style Repository but if I do so, I’m just getting the spinning wheel. When I choose one of the CSL Styles which are already listed I have no problem. Is there something I can do, or is it a bug?
I am working with Zotpress Version 7.3.2 and WordPress Version 6.1.1.

Hi,

the page speed test tells me I need to add width and height to my podcast widget to improve CSL.

How to I do that? There is no field for adding the picture size of the podcast. Right?

Most of my citations have a Web/URL link, which displays in full after the citation text. This works OK, but many of the links are quite long. Is there a way of replacing the full url with a short text or icon that the user can click on? If not could this be a candidate for your wish-list?

Does not detect locale?

Hi! I use CSL styles that handle multiple locales. But it seems that Zotpress does not detect the WordPress locale, and always uses English. Adding a default-locale parameter in the CSL file does not suffice. I also had to completely remove the section for Zotpress to use the other locale.

Is there a way for Zotpress to detect the WordPress locale and use it?

Hey, i’m using CSL to translate a page. Works great on nearly every page. As i have a problem with different text domains (just using one but CSL detects some more) i cant save the .mo-file.

The backend tells me that there is a translation, but frontend doesnt show it …

Same problem at my contact form placeholders.

Any idea how to solve my problem?

shortcode CSL not working

I’ve tried to specify the CSL file in the shortcode, but not working. All the .csl files in the folder MyWebSiteHome/plugins/mendeleyplugin/style has been tried, and got the following warnings & errors:

Here is my Mendeley library (.bib). The document types include Conference Proceedings, Journal Article, and Book Section.

CSL looks in wrong directory

Hi,

i am using a theme located in wp-content/themes/mythemename
there is a folder namend “languages”.

When trying to translate that theme with CSL, it doen′t look into this folder but in
mythemename/builder/pluginname/theme_locale/languages

as a fact: the theme is not translated.

What can I do?

Links in CSL-formatted bibliography

Hi,

Great plug-in, thank you. One minor problem I’m having though – without a CSL stylesheet links work fine, with a link to a CSL file the formatting works and the URLs appear but the links are no longer active. Is this simply a limitation with using CSL?
