Cover WP theme featured categories problem

Hi there,

I have spend two days altering my blog www.docgeeks.com in CSS (pad on the shoulder for non-tech person) and now I have a few issues with the categories.

There is a Featured category on the home page but I would like reviews to come up there – I changed it in the Settings bit but it doesn’t come up. On top of that I’d like the header for that to read Reviews as well – does anyone know how to do that?

The other issue is that I do not know how to prevent articles to come up twice on the home page, in different categories – is there a way to stop that from happening?

I copied my CSS in Pastebin in case a good samaritan is willing to help and needs to look at that. https://pastebin.com/HRT6k0kh

Syntax Error – help needed :(

Hi there,

I’m very non-technical and was super proud of my efforts so far to change the blog. Then I had to include a link
somewhere in my template file in order to get a slideshow feature going. This failed and while I was getting rid of the code I must have done something wrong and now I get the following message Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/fhlinux218/d/docgeeks.com/user/htdocs/wp-content/themes/cover-wp/theme-options.php on line 202
My pride and glory is no longer accessible! I’m ready to cry – can someone help?
It seems that I can not even enter the template.php anymore due to this error so I can not try out changing things….

Hi, I have been trying different plugins for cache static and would like to use G Zip My domain is with Go Daddy and Host with with wordpress.

My question is how can get this gzip plugin to work with cover wp theme or is there a better alternative to gzip?

how to enlarge footer in cover WP theme ?

I try to enlarge on my footer in order to add an additional information about what provide my site and what the visitors must consider at it,etc…
But somehow I cant do it through theme editor…I cant find it where is it…I use Cover WP Theme.
I look at all .css but nothing exactly what I look for…
could anyone give me some tips for it ?

RSS feed doesn't disply images on my cover wp theme

Hi I am developing a media site, unfortunately RSS feed doesn’t display any images with its post, but when i change the theme to some other ex: community theme” it shows perfectly. I really like this theme “cover wp” so i can’t go back using any other theme….(when i upload an image from my computer it shows perfectly, only from the feed it doesn’t shows)
please help me asap.

Thumbnails not showing on cover-wp theme

Hello All,

I’m the admin of the following blog https://pakteahouse.net

Yesterday i installed the “Cover-wp” theme for the blog. The theme is supposed to automatically display thumbnails with the posts on the blog. However, for some reason the thumbnails are not showing. The blog is pretty big and the there are around 600 photographs in total.

I did check the thumbnails in the upload folder and they are present there. The earlier theme in use was “pilcrow” which did not have the thumbnail feature built in.

Hope someone can shed light on what could possibly be wrong here!

P.S: the blog was migrated from wordpress.com to root domain around 6 months back.

Hi!
Could anyone advise on how to make my header image space bigger. On Cover WP Theme it has a “Custom Header” which could be why I can’t figure out where the dimensions are in the code to change it.
