Hello

I just can’t seem to create a static landing page without the template stuff included

i want my site to be like this https://www.obama.org/ (only the picture to show up on the landing /home page)
With two Call to Actions (2 buttons) leading to the respective pages.

but all the template stuff keeps getting included and the latest string of posts etc.
I went to customise and unticked all those stuff from being displayed but then it removes it from ALL the pages!

Display cover page image and playlist side by side vs vertical

Hi,
I’m trying to use the Sonaar mp3 player on a Woocommerce product page. Under the Description tab (“Album Playlist” on my site) the cover page image displays on the left, and the playlist displays underneath the cover image vertically, also on the left.
How can I display the cover page image and the playlist side by side instead of vertically? And centered on the page?

Intro-Text at Cover Template Page

First of all I would like to thank you, Anders, for this really great theme!

I am trying to get an intro-text below the page heading, which is shown in the area of the cover image when using the cover template page. Just like it is seen at the Chaplin demo page.

After the heading “Build it with Blocks” there is shown the text “Chaplin is a flexible WordPress theme with deep support for the new block editor and complete settings for fonts and colors.” as subtitle / intro text.

How do I manage to get this for my own page?

Conflict between Cover Page and Customizer

Hi,
I’m very new to WP and GeneratePress, so I’m sure this is very obvious. I am using Dispatch, which is clearly out of my league. I see how to use WP Show Posts on specific pages, and the Customizer is affecting (tweaking elements) of the home and parts of other pages.
I want to modify the middle section of the Home page and put in the results of a ShowPost, just show 4 of the latest posts. Should be simply using a shortcode and put it on the Cover Page file, like any other page.
But I see shortcodes came with it, were already there (doing what I want!!) and it seems like the Customizer is overruling what’s being called for in the Cover Page and int he Show Posts. Is the Cover Page where I should be working?

At the moment, I’m seeing only a list of my posts on the home page. They are styled beautifully but I want to group them into segments by topic. I thought putting shortcodes on the Cover Page would do it. Any suggestions? I’m sure I have a mistaken concept in here somewhere.

Welcome page/cover page showing before home page

Hi,

I have an email course, for which I’ve created “cover page” (or welcome page), basically with full width background image and two buttons, one of them allows someone to sign up for the course (when they click it there’s a popup) and the second one is “Go back to home page” which I want to lead to my current home page.

I’ve set up the cover page as “static page” in reading settings, but the buttons don’t work.

How can I set this page as “welcome page” properly?

Take away front page

A few months ago I had someone redesign my website and I thought it would be revolutionary to have a front page without a menu – making people choose their entrance…. unfortunately, utility wins, and now I want to get rid of the front page and have urbannirvana.ca go directly to what is now https://www.urbannirvana.ca/thai-massage/ and have a subcategory for Yoga.

We had the website custom designed, so it makes it really challenging for an amateur like me to tweak and make changes.

We also can’t make anything bold or change fonts…
We can’t change the writing – ie – “Intro Special 1 Month Unlimited At…”

Any suggestions?

I need the pop up plugin which cover the page to force the user to subscribe to the mailing list.

I really like the pop up on https://danzarrella.com/ site.

Does any body know the name of the pop up plugin same as on https://danzarrella.com/ site. Or similar to like this.
