The original (legacy) version of this plugin was superior to what’s on offer currently.

We currently utilise the legacy plugin on over a hundred client platforms integrated with an ICS feed. They do not support legacy users that have used the old plugin for years. They’ve collapsed all of the functionality related to importing events, etc. overnight. Their support is non-responsive and largely unhelpful when faced with reality.

We have previously attempted to transition one of our clients to the newer version of the plugin which is now solely hosted on their website and iframed on the WP Dashboard. Unfortunately, this proved to be impractical due to significant design and development limitations, as well as decreased flexibility compared to the older version, and significant increase in cost for less features. As such, migrating all platforms to the new version does not make sense nor is it feasible for us.

We utmost highly recommend seeking an alternative calendar plugin and avoiding future issues.

Pro Version Over-Priced

I would like to purchase the pro version – but the pricing is that of a complete custom theme !

I can do everything the pro version does with elementor add-ons.

But cut the price in half – where it should be – and I would sign up for the pro version in a heart beat.

Works good but the gap (for a small business with minimal gains from plugins like these) to jump towards a pro version is too big.
Coughing up 25 bucks (for a year) or close to 100 bucks (for lifetime upgrade) is too big of a leap of faith for poor me
Keep up the good work though!

Why import is so long and resource absorbing?

Hi,

we have a website with 20 GB of images. We already done export for google storage on dev and uats servers, they succeed but they took almost 24h Why it is so costly? As I inspect plugin’s code I see that you’re doing regeneration of thumbnails, it is really needed? Can we skip this in ease way and just alter metadate for image and send to google storage? Maybe good idea will be to use here a little bit of asynchronous pool?

Just took a look. As with many plugins – to do anything useful – the plugin peppers post with subscribe to unlock features – pretty much everywhere.

Extremely expensive plugin, costs more than most hosting plans. Solved my issue with a few lines of code for free. I’m not saying it doesn’t work, it probably does (no idea because you have to pay to see if it works), but I was really shocked when I found out I had to pay (which I would in many cases) and HOW MUCH. I have a dedicated server at Digital Ocean for less than that money!

White Screen of Death!

Everything was working fine until I decided to take a punt and upgrade all the plugins and WordPress to 4.1.

I have tried this and this. But we still have the same issue. Everytime I activate the Ai1 plugin, everything on our website goes white. I cannot even log in as Admin.

The only step I did not do, is to upgrade our themes, and then restore them back to our original theme. The reason is because we have a customised theme and we do not want to loose a lot of changes to our website.

Any other suggestions please?

Our clients are crying that they cannot see our event notifications anymore in our calendar. This is making us look bad I can assure you!

W3 Total Cache High CDN costs

I have an updated version of W3 Total Cache with amazon cloud front as the CDN. All my media files and minify files are set to be uploaded. Everything is working fine. However, it seems to be costing me most in “$0.01 per 1,000 PUT, COPY, POST, or LIST requests”. Why is it using so mand requests (a total of 344,609 Requests last month which is way less than the GET requests…).
