Question is, why doesn’t that status appear now? I’m hesitant to proceed to import other folders in case I have to do them again.
Also, how difficult is it to just add the title/alt under the thumbnail in compact album view? I read various articles about creating new templates, putting them in a folder under the sites theme folder. Then another saying to put them in the ngg folder in folder ascribed to a view corresponding to the layout of the album. Totally confused and lost over what I should be editing, your main site when you click on the template info link gives a 404 error. Is there a definitive guide? It’s a simple thing just wanting to put a title under a thumb. I did it by altering one of the core files, but I know that will get replaced when there’s an update.
Despite the above, still enjoying the software!
]]>First, the schedule system does not work, I only got able to make it work by manually making a cron job that triggers the check of the emails in the system, no other way I found it to work, i’m currently using Site Ground for hosting.
Second, when Postie reads the emails to make posts, it randomly misses every now on them certain posts and I need to manually unread the email and put it on inbox to make postie check the email again to make it go to WordPress, I’m using Gmail.
Other bug is that sometimes apart from missing some emails for some reason it also randomly make certain featured images on post go blank even through they are attached in the email, and I need to manually reload the email in order to make it go to WordPress with the featured image working.

Please help me I’m i real trouble.
]]>I hope that my problem will be solved. Basically what happened is that half of the images on my website (/www.onroses.nl) are not showing anymore. Also, all new image uploads get ‘corrupted’. I have searched these forums and other sites, but I haven’t found any solution.
All the images’ thumbnails are showing:
https://s17.postimg.org/at7g387dq/images.jpg
But the images themselves are not showing:

What I have tried:
-Uninstalling all plugins
-Update theme
-Use another theme
-Reinstall wordpress
-Cleared cache (with a plugin)
-Scan and repair database through myphpadmin
This all didn’t work. I thought it might be an issue with the hosting provider. So I moved my website to another hosting company, thinking that would fix my problem. To my surprise, the issue have not been solved. So, is there anyone who knows the solution? Thanks in advance!

]]>I have uploaded some GIF images to a post of mine, but during the upload process the images seem to have some corruption. When I view the original images on my PC (both at work and home) they are fine. However, once I upload them to WP and publish the article, the images seem to be corrupted. (They look fine when in preview mode prior to publishing and when in Edit mode)
I have viewed the same images on the site on 3 separate computers, and have attempted to re-upload the images from 2 different computers (home and work) but have the same issues.
Is there a known issue regarding GIF (or other image files) getting corrupted when using the default uploading mechanism built into WP?
Here is a link to the article in question. Please note the glitches in the Circle of Hands animation as well as some of the ones below that (approx half-way down)
Prior to 3.6.1 I hadn’t ever had an issue with GIF images.
Kind regards,
Richard
]]>(1) Half of the images I try to upload gets corrupted. Although they show there is a file uploaded, all I get is a grey frame. This happens when I use either the flash or browser uploader (for multiple or single image at one time).
(2) My blog content changes when I save / publish. I could have created my post and clicked on “PUBLISH”. But when I read my post again, there are tons of errors not caused by me. Example:
(a) my images become un-viewable cos wordpress somehow automatically removed a character from my “img src” URL, or inserted one or a string of characters at the URL, or
(b) wordpress inserted characters in my text. E.g. I wrote “…usually only…”, but what is published is “…usually!only…” etc. I have also seen the published post to contain weird characters like “e22” or “e26” which is not written by me.
Does anyone face the same crazy problem? Do you know how to solve it? It’s causing tons of pain that I can’t even blog properly.
]]>The problem that I am having is that when I upload an image file through WordPress, the image file is corrupted. They become truncated and blocky, with sections of the image discolored or out of alignment. Here are some examples:
https://inabsentiapress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/IMG_2037.jpg
https://inabsentiapress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/IMG_2043.jpg
https://inabsentiapress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/testImage.jpg
No matter how they are uploaded, (directly though a new post or through the media library), this corruption occurs. Though all the examples I have linked to a JPEG files, I am having the same issue with GIFs and PNGs as well. I have tried to upload through several browsers on several different computers and platforms, all causing the same issue.
I also did an entire deletion and reinstall of WordPress on my server, but the corruption still occurred.
Further more, if I then download the uploaded images back onto my computer, they will not open properly in programs like Preview Photoshop.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this issue? It is a huge problem for me, and other users, including myself, have started forums about this in the past, but no one seems to know what is going on:

Can anyone at least point me in the right direction to get the issue fixed, since there doesn’t seem to be a way to directly notify WordPress about the issue?
