Thanks for solving a problem that WordPress should have solved a long time ago!
]]>TLDR: Ai and generative Ai is dangerous and a threat to everyone right now .
That all said, I think it would be important for a platform like WordPress to, at the very least, take a firm stance against generative Ai and provide protections for everyone’s websites from content scraping. This isn’t something that should be solely on plugin developers to create, but something that should be built by WordPress, or brought to WordPress.
Additionally, WordPress should also have a clear statement in their Terms of Service/Use and Privacy Policy that data and content that a user has on their site will not be used gathered by WordPress and used for generative Ai machine learning purposes. It’s a level of accountability that we need more companies to step up and own when this technology is being abused by other companies.
Having basic protections against theft should be a foundation of WordPress, regardless of predatory business practices and trends in the tech industry.
]]>Firstly, thank you for providing a great theme, Hestia, for free. I am very grateful.
My question is, how can I add a simple “? 2025 Brand Name. All rights reserved” text to the footer of the free version of Hestia? Ideally, to have the year update automatically. Is it possible?
I intend to keep the Themeisle credits, as I am using the Hestia theme for free. I simply wish to add the copyright notice on the other side (the left) of the footer.
My website is simple, hosted through GoDaddy on a basic plan, and functions as an online presence/gallery for my small graphic design business. The cost for Hestia PRO is a little much for me at this time and the only additional feature I would likely use is the ability to edit the footer.
Thank you kindly in advance for any support!

This image is protected by copyright
The PicRights company asks me to delete the image and asks me to pay the sum of 350 euros
Many thanks for your help

]]>I’m using this plugin to help setup my child theme from OnePress main theme.
I have been using this theme for years in my website, and every year, I edit the copyright notice in the footer.php file to reflect the current year.
Now, I don’t remember how I did last year, but I just can’t seem to remember how to edit this file with Child Theme Configurator plugin active. Usually we would to go “Theme Editor” and edit the file directly from the selection menu.
With Child Theme Configurator plugin, there is no option to manually edit a specific file, or at least I can’t find it.
How can I change the footer contents?
Thank you!
]]>Hello,
I have an issue with translated Copyright year located in the footer of AMP version of my website. I have build it using two languages (ET and RU). Everything works and looks fine in ET version:
But when the language is switched to RU, the format of the date is not showing up correctly:
I have been trying to make the changes in the coding using WP File Manager, but in amp folder’s footer.php file there is no code for copyright added, so I am struggling to find the correct folder where needed changes to be made.
]]>I still have some sites that I haven’t had time to redesign and migrate to another theme since Neve decided to shit on all of us, and I haven’t updated them since – it has been a long while, so I am afraid they are starting to break and to become insecure.
