Restored the site to pre-7 version and repeated the steps, cookie scan is just fine and 100% in line with what Chrome Dev says.

The problem I’m having is that when I go into scanner and click ‘Migrate Cookie Categories’, it’s not updating properly and giving me the option to then scan the website. First it takes me to the Cookie Categories page (which is still missing from the side menu) Then when I click back on the Cookie Scanner page, it keeps going back to giving me the option to migrate again, like it hasn’t registered. Previously at this point, it has given me the option to then add my login info for ‘Cookie Yes’ but it doesn’t seem to want to do it. please could you help and let me know if i’m doing something wrong.

I have ‘Enable Cookie Bar’ switched on so that isn’t the issue. I’ve also tried deactivating and reactivating, uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin and that hasn’t worked either.

So i looked through my cookie policy and wow … everything in there from facebook to youtube to wistia to even more unknown services, which i NEVER installed on my website, not even in distant past.

Okay. so i opened an inkognito window, accepted cookies on my site and clicked around. then i logged in in that same window and started the cookie scan. and voila, only the real ones are there. stripe, woocommerce, kadence, complianz, GA, nothing else

so i think it’s fixed and go on with my life, but about a DAY later, all this random stuff and even more is in my cookie policy again… what?

Please understand this as productive critique.. HOW ON EARTH did you come to the conclusion it would be a good idea to scan the Admins Browser storage and decide that found cookies are added to the cookie policy?
Do you yourself manage your own site only in incognito window? Realtalk, something’s wrong with this approach

I don’t want to get rid of complianz, long time user and (except this annoying Bug) very happy.
So how do i make the scan server side so it just scans the site and NOT uses any Users Browser storage?

How do I implement this in the Cookie banner?

I deleted Google Analytics. I cleared cookies and I run a new cookie scan.
(I also clear my browsercache). But I can’t see cookies and services used (steps in the assistant), it takes time to synchronize with Cookie Database. So i can’t add information to services and cookies I used.
The cookies politic page changed : cookies are not mentionned by services.
Google Map and Google Fonts are not mentionned anymore on the cookies politic page…
How can I fix it ?

I tried to add Google Analytics to my website.
I have followed the steps in Complianz :
– I selected “yes“ for complianz configures Google Analytics
– I provided the code UA-Xx
– I turned off data sharing, I accepted data processing terms

My questions :
– How can I anonymize IP ? Should I turn on “anonymize IP“ in Complianz ?
– Currently when i check cookies on my web site, there is a cookie “complianz_stat“ but no cookie_ga / cookie_gat. But the complianz assistant scans cookie_gat but not the cookie “complianz_stat“. Moreover, when I check my GA dashbaord, it looks like the code doesn’t word beacause I can’t see any trafic.

Ive bought the Pro version for its functionality to detect cookies automatically. After running the scanning function it detected around 20 cookies.

But a cookiebot.com scan revealed over 200 cookies. So there is MUCH room for improving the built-in cookies scanner.

Now I want to block all non-necessary cookies before consent is given. I only see a way to add SCRIPTS.

Do you have examples what to fill in there? I don’t understand the relation between scripts and cookies.
