Multilingual pages on on WordPress Dashboard

Hi there,

I’m translating my web with Polylang but I’ve encountered some problems:

1-?I’ve translated most of my pages and post, but these don’t seem to appear on my WordPress Dashborad > Pages / posts. Just shows my Spanish pages. Whenever I translate a page/post, shows I’ve created a new page/post and is live, but don’t appear anywhere. Therefore, I’m not able to edit them again. Can’t find them!
2-?Related to multilingual, I’ve made an English page for my portfolio and now the layout for my Spanish portfolio page has change (looks like a blog format) and can’t put it back as it was before (how the English portfolio page is at the moment). Seems I can’t make my projects multilingual, is that right?
3-?In the blog page, appears the posts with their featured image and the introduction text bellow. Then the “continue reading” link… always in English. Can this link text be multilingual too?

Great plugin thank you. However, after creating a Process Step as a Post, for example referenced as https://my.domain/process_posts/step-1/ I cannot then display the post content by using the link to the post in the browser. This matters because if I type too many characters in the contents, then your plugin truncates the post and leaves a link “Continue Reading” to the post. If I click the link, I just get “Page not found…” Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong. Thanks

Link of Continue reading applies # tag with it but the title does not apply in my post
eg: Link of title is: https://viebly.com/free-audio-books-online

but link of continue reading: https://viebly.com/free-audio-books-online#more-185

Blog Style Thumbnail — No “Continue Reading” Link?

As I mentioned in another thread, I’ve decided to go with Customize > Blog > Blog Entries and the “Thumbnail” blog style.

Interestingly, there’s no “Continue Reading” link in this layout as there is in the other two layouts (you can see an example in the Florist OceanWP Demo,

Is this by design? Or overlooked?

And is there a way to add it?

I’ve created a menu to display Front Page Content and added one of my pages to it, and I’ve just noticed the “Continue reading” link at the bottom of the preview is not linking to the page. It’s linking to the Homepage.

Hi, I seem to be having similar issues to other posters.

I upgraded to 2.6.1 a day or so ago. Since then the ‘Continue Reading’ link just links to the first post, not the post it’s attached to.

Any advice?

Hi, I would suggest/vote for small settings panel for enable/disable wp full-flavoured WordPress editor or simple text-field for excerpt. Enable/disable ‘continue reading’ link. This small click-and-go panel can speed-up plugin setup and development. Thanks for considering.

Hi,

I am using the Premium News theme from woothemes and I have a question regarding the feature article box. My site is https://www.stockmarketmate.com/2013/

In the featured article box, the writing seems to just drop through the box. Is there any way of putting a ‘continue reading’ in the featured box? I’m having trouble finding anything.

The designer of the theme has a demo page https://demo.woothemes.com/premiumnews/ where if you look you can see that the continue reading link exists, so it’s possible to put in, I just don’t know how.
