Where’s My Content?

I switched my hosting from Bluehost to Dreamhost (The domain is still through Bluehost). I switched the settings in Bluehost to make the DNS point to Dreamhost. That seems to work. You can get to my website.

The problem is all of my previous content has disappeared and it’s now just a generic, blank website. Where did everything go and how do I get it back?

The theme I purchased to create my website also seems to have disappeared.

How do I get my website back to the way it was before I switched hosting providers?

Content in posts and pages disappeared

All the text from the pages and posts on my site seems to have disappeared. It’s all still there on the backend when I log in, but doesn’t appear to anyone who visits.

I don’t know what caused the problem — I didn’t change themes or add a plugin, it just happened overnight. I thought it might be an issue with an update, so I left it for a bit and kept applying the new updates, but the problem remains.

My wordpress skills are moderate at best, and I’d really appreciate any help!

(Theme is Twenty Twelve, if that makes a difference)

Hosting 2 wordpress sites on AWS, all content is gone and cannot login

The link is the live site hosted on AWS. Docker compose was also used to install the WP site.

No changes/updates have been made to the site, I recently noticed all the content has gone from the site and I’m unable to log in as admin.

Any one have any ideas?

Certain characters delete entire content.

Following characters: “\” and “\ ; (HTML symbol)” delete the entire content of the Accordion.
Scenario:
1) Create a new Accordion.
2) Ignore the title of the Accordion and the default posts inside (or input any random title)
3) Replace the “Accordion Sample Description” with the text containing any of the two previously mentioned characters in any space.
4) Publish the Accordion.
5) The entire content is now deleted with no possible way of returning it.
6) If step 5 did not occur press the Update button and this time around you see the bug happening.

Note: Other characters might do this also, didn’t test.

After updating all my plugins and WordPress, all my accordion content has disappeared!

The domain has not been moved and all I have done is update everything to the latest versions.

Content showing on Swedish menu but not on English

Problem with content on the English menu. Using OceanWP theme and WP Bakery Page builder. Have contacted them both without any solution to fix the problem. Do someone know how to fix this? Very thankful for your answer.

Hey

I have lost my entire site over a matter of days. There are no revisions to revert to and it’s now been restored to original theme settings.

Nothing to my knowledge happened to cause this. I was just wondering if anyone could take a look at my site or if anyone had any words of wisdom as to how I may be able to rescue at least some of it?

I hadn’t used any additional backup system (aside from what WordPress offers as standard) which is my bad – won’t make the same mistake again! So it’s a case of mining for information and trying to understand why this might have happened.

I never had an issue before with this website, I can see all of my content and photos on the back end in my “pages” section. However on the front end it keeps going to a link to redirect the page back home. I just want all of my pages to come up normally. About Us, Gallery, Testimonials, Etc. I recently downloaded a debugger but it confused me even more. Please help I would be so grateful!

SOS, all the content on my site including my WordPress menu on top is gone except the menu (minemr.com). In the dashboard in pages, the content is there, it’s just not appearing on my site.

Hello,
My site www.intelligentfitnessuk.com has disappeared. The domain name expired but we have now renewed it with weebly. The site is hosted by hostgator. We can’t get hold of the developer. We can’t log-in to the dashboard which we used to. I would very much appreciate if someone could please help. I’m panicking that all the content would have gone, could that be the case?
