I have a problem:
My div #content jumps out of my div #container in Firefox but not in Safari & CHROME.
I think I forgot something but I can’t seem to find what…
I’m currently creating my own theme. So far so good. I got it working in Safari. And when I start checking other browsers I was quite happy with the result. It looked like I intended. Until I tested it in Firefox. First the style.css didn’t load. Now its loading have (I think). Don’t know how to explain it.
Just look for yourself: https://www.wordpress.theatervonk.be
This is still the version where the style.css won’t load correctly. I have a update version locally on my system. The layout is better, the header en body are together without the blank bar in the middle.
Oh, and let me know what it does in IE7, IE8 or IE9. I only have mac so no IE.
Thanks dudes and dudettes

My site is https://techno-french.com.
I want to create a page with no sidebar, which is easily just a checkbox away, but what I also want is to increase the width of the remaining CONTENT DIV so that I can load it up with an image or video gallery.
Is there a way to do this? I can’t do it with CSS, because if I change the width of #CONTENT, it’s also changed for my Posts page.
Any ideas?

The problem im running into is that some pages require an image to span the full width of #content (so no padding) and others have text and those pages require padding. The #content div is a different background color than the rest of the site.
Examples:
#1 image same width as content https://searts.org/wp/about-searts/
All is fine except div is higher than image and white background shows below
#2 page with content https://searts.org/wp/mission-history/
Needs padding, but if I add it it messes up display in case #1 abouve
So the question is is there a way with css that I can add padding to the #content div only in cases where there is text.
In addition in the case of the image only page thee is a pasky
tag that surrounds the image and which i think is the reason that the div is taller than the enclosed image in the first example. Is there a way to get rid of it?
Thanks

But for some strange reason, I can’t for the life of me figure out what I’m missing here…
https://www.ladydelaluna.com
I’ve taken my old theme, and just started twisting and tweaking things – so it’s really probably a very simple error on my part, but my brain’s not working properly this holiday weekend, and an extra pair of eyes (or more) is exactly what I’m looking for.
It was working fine, and then my silly head started tweaking more, and now it’s not.
Anyone care to de-fog my brain for me today? No? Okay, then would you mind helping me figure this teeny issue out? Thanks in advance…
