Shortcodes in Content Display

I posted about this in the PublishPress Future support a few days ago. I was using a different block library (GetWid) and I am having the same issue in you library as well. What I have realized that this is a function of WordPress – the short code is grabbing the post ID of the main page and therefore can not pull the expiration date (or a custom meta field) inside the loop. I don’t think I can pass the post ID in any way.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Content Display block not displaying

We recently noticed the Content Display block not showing up on a page and upon further investigation noticed that between revisions of a page edit, block attributes had changed. Specifically:

older revision of the block on the page:

newest page revision:

We’re using a Gatsby front-end and our component that parses the data from the block is expecting to see a value for category and it looks like the attribute layout has changed, and now there is a separate array that contains id and name instead.

Trying to figure out how it got changed – as we haven’t updated the plugin. ˉ\_(ツ)_/ˉ

I use this plugin in a number of places and I’ve had no conflicts with other plugins or when I’ve changed themes. It’s really simple and useful and has solved content display problems very effectively.

How can I display the full HTML content for a blog on the blog listing page so users will not have to click on the image or title to view the blog?

Example: in the URL https://laddersrealestate.com/portfolio/, it displays the ‘one’ portfolio listing with the HTML content not formatted:

Business Name: Epic Taquera Authentic Homemade Tacos, LLC Closing Date: November 6, 2020 Transaction Type: Lease – New Address: 4600 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80204 Listing Broker: Crosbie Real Estate Group LLC

However, if you click on the image or title, it takes you to https://laddersrealestate.com/portfolio/epic-taquera/ where the content is displayed in a table.

What we would like to do is to have all blog listings on https://laddersrealestate.com/portfolio/ to display the content of each portfolio like it is shown on the https://laddersrealestate.com/portfolio/epic-taquera/ page.

Is this possible? If so, how can we do it?

Sermon content not showing up

Hello,
I was instructed by my web host (Siteground) to update which version of PHP I use on my site. After doing so, I am getting a bunch of errors in my dashboard (posted below) and the content in my sermon posts is not showing up.

The archive of sermons all show up here https://templebiblechurch.org/sermons/ but when you click on any sermon there should be an embedded livestream, an audio mp3, etc. None of that is showing.

I’m a designer and not so knowledgeable with PHP and code, so if you can tell me how to fix this, please do so in the most basic way for my sake lol. Thanks.

Shortcode widget won’t update in customizer

I’ve been using your widget for about 8 months with no issues. It is being used to display a stockticker widget and a ‘latest news’ menu on the sidebar of my front page created with html (theme is optimizerWP, so this is a front page widget I edit during customize mode). I tried adding a new item to my ‘latest news’, and the widget won’t update the front page, the content simply stays the same and the customizer doesn’t indicate that there’s been any changes (ie it doesn’t acknowledge that there’s anything new to publish)

If I remove the widget, and re-insert it, the space is occupied, but none of the content appears. I’ve updated to the most recent version of the widget, and I have the newest versions of my theme and wordpress, and the issue still persists. There are no issues updating any of my other front page widgets in customize mode (I’ve tested them) only the shortcode one :/ Please help!

Static Home Page does not display content.

Hello,

My static Home Page does not display content. Here are my steps:

1) Customize Home Page Settings
2) Select Homepage displayes = A static page, and select Homepage = Home
3) On Home page, add content. (Title, Gallery, and Text Paragraph)
4) Update/Publish page, then view page preview.

Updated to the latest version of wordpress.

Titled new Tabs… add description content for each of the tab….
update and generate short code.

Insert tab shortcode into page.

Pagination – how large can photos be?

Really like your Advanced Post Pagination plugin, but have questions:

1. can each display photo (after clicking the thumbnail) be larger? What is the maximum pixel accepted?

2. can display photos in the content be clickable to enlarge? based on demo, it looks small

3. what is the maximum number of words to assign to go with each photo?

4. will have new version which display like a gallery with thumbnail? then click on thumbnail while the content below will change, this is the ultimate thing I want, will you have this soon?
