Sidebar content keeps disappearing

This is not an issue with “custom sidebars.” It’s a problem with content inside the sidebars that came with the theme.

For some of the pages in my site, I have added either text or html widgets to the Primary or Secondary sidebars. For each of them, I’ve made them only visible on those specific pages – like upcoming events in a specific topic, or an imbedded chat function on our Live Stream page.

Every few weeks for the past few months, that content just randomly disappears. I can’t say what triggers it. I thought maybe it was related to the most recent two WP updates, but today I found them disappeared again, in the absence of an update. I had to scramble to get the chat back up and running 5 minutes before our live stream started this morning. Not fun!

The widgets do not go to the inactive widgets area, they are just gone. Gone Gone Gone.
Getting tired of having to recreate them over and over.

Why is this happening, and how can I prevent it from happening in the future? Any help or insight is greatly appreciated!

Active Complianz plugin makes content disappear

Content disappears when I publish a new page

Hey,
I created a new page on my site and uploaded several photo galleries to it. I can preview the page as a draft but the second I hit the publish button when I go to preview it again, the content disappears. It’s my photography portfolio so I kinda need it to show up!

I’ve updated to the latest version of WP. Not sure what to do, I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

Any help is much appreciated!

Homepage Widget Content Disappears

AMP for WP seems incompatible with Responsive Pro Theme. When using AMP for WP plugin and Responsive Pro, half my content disappears from the homepage.

None of the 3 homepage widget contents are shown. On non-homepage pages, anything in the right-side column is, similarly, not displayed.

This has had a disastrous effect on my client rankings.

As yet I have not found a combination of theme settings that is properly usable. Responsive Pro insists on showing homepage widgets, whether containing content or not; AMP for WP fails to show the widget/sidebar content.

What do you suggest?

Content disappeared from Lesson

While working on the lesson page titled “Same”, I updated the page and clicked the view page link at the top. The page displayed correctly. When I went back to editor for that lesson, all the content was gone. This has happened three times. What is causing all my hours of work to disappear even though I’ve been faithfully updating and saving?

I have a regular test page that I’m also working with and I don’t seem to have the same problem. It only seems to be happening when the content is in a lesson.

Hi, When I click on “Edit” at the top of the page, the next page that shows up has no content at all from the public view of the page. This is true not only for the link above, but for all the pages I’ve checked, so it seems to be a universal problem. I didn’t do anything beforehand that might have created this issue, nor have I made any kinds of changes over the past several weeks. I need to edit some pages but can’t?? Downloads not appearing, all page content disappears

I am running a custom theme and template for the download buttons, but recently I’m noticing that any page with the download shortcodes inserted doesn’t display any of the page content at all, short of the page title. When I switch to Twenty Seventeen theme, I get to see all my content and download buttons, but switching back to my custom theme takes out all the content again. All site styles load, and the general structure of the page is intact. However, any content that is meant to display in the_content completely disappears, only on pages with the DM shortcodes inserted.

Error console doesn’t show me anything that could be the culprit, and debug mode wasn’t very helpful either. Has anyone else seen this occur, particularly with a custom theme? If so, what should I be avoiding in my custom theme to prevent this from happening?

All content entered into Collapsed Content fields disappears upon saving. Perhaps this is only on WordPress v 4.7.1. My request for help to the form goes unanswered. Would love this plugin to work and to update this if that can happen.

Hi there.. I’m testing this nice plug-in, the free version
but after working on one post, is not working on another.

The whole post is not displaying, just the title but empty content,
Every time I untick the “Search for Table Of Contents items on this post/page.” box,
the content comes back.

Would you know what could be the problem? all title in that post are h4… is this an issue?

Retina logo dissapears when plugin is enabled on mobile?

Hello

I have been looking to increase my page speed and was very impressed when this plugin increased my speed to 96 for mobile and 95 for desktop according to Google.

However when the plugin is enabled the retina logo disappears on the mobile version of the site any ideas on how to fix this? In addition to this it also moves the content to the left slightly.
