Using it with Contact Form 7 doesn’t save messages

Hi,

I have already tested this plugin on a website with Forminator forms and I am really impressed!
But now I am using Contact Form 7 and saving sent messages in the plugin list “Messages” is not working. In analyze mode it automatically added a “check_stamp” in the scope field. (To be honest, I don’t really understand the scope either… Is that an internal field that is sent with the form?)
Does anyone have experience with whether this scope variable is really correct or what other error could be present?

I use SMTP dispatch via FluentSMTP and the test mails are arriving succesfully.

PS:
The plugin here filters out a lot of requests via the file “xmlrpc.php”, apparently attacks are attempted via this file.

Hi,

I have different pages with a link to one CF7-form and I want automatically fill the subject field of the form with the page-title of the page from where I linked it.

For example: I have 3 different pages with these URLs: www.mysite.de/page1; www.mysite.de/page2; www.mymysite.de/page3. Also the titles of these pages are:
“page1”; “page2”; “page3”. From there I have a link to the cf7-form.

I′m looking for a possibility, how to fill the subject-field of the cf7-form automatically with the title of the page, from where I linked it.

So when I klick the link to the form from www.mymysite.de/page3, I want to have automatically have in my form (for example in the subject-field) “page3”

Can somebody help me?

Geo Directory Listing Integration with User Profiles

I have business listings in Geo Directory, I added short code to their TABS settings so that I could add contact form 7 to the listing profiles. I am running into one issue that I hope there is already a default option for this.

When the form is submitted in Geo Directory listings with contact form 7, the submission still goes to the administrator. How can we make the system harvest the company email for the business listing the visitor/user/subscriber is reading on?

We need the email submitted to go to the listing profile company owners it is being submitted through. Is there a global setting or code for this in contact form 7 that works with buddypress and geo directory in this manner?

Hi Forminators,

I found your plugin as an excellent alternative for Contact Form 7 not displaying a datepicker on Safari for a couple of years now. We are desperate in finding a pro-solution therefore. I succeeded implementing your very well-designed and versatile contact form in every aspect. Though, how can we change the first day of the week from Sunday to Monday, as I live in Europe?
My settings of WordPress are set to: Week starts on Monday. Translation of the datepicker is fine. First letter of days are ok. Days, months are translated to Dutch and ok! Perfect. But my clients become bonkers when their week start on Sundays and not Mondays. Can you help me in finding a way to customise this aspect of your perfect solution to our needs?

According to international standard ISO 8601, Monday is the first day of the week. It is followed by Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sunday is the 7th and last day of the week.

Although this is the international standard, several countries, including the United States and Canada, consider Sunday as the start of the week. Sometimes we would like that too.

ContactForm 7 option missing

Strangely, the option for ContactForm 7 has disappeared on the Integration tab of WP GDPR compliance settings. I have the other two options for WordPress Comments and WordPress Registration available but not the contactform 7 one. It is set to’Yes’ on the Checklist tab. I have deactivated and uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled and activated it but this has not solved it. Any ideas please? Thanks.

Installed WP GDPR Compliance v1.5.4
Latest wordpress version (always kept up to date)

Cannot change placeholder colour on [select] field

Hi All
I’ve added a ‘select’ dropdown field to my form, but I can’t change the black colour of the placeholder text to the grey that’s in all other fields. I’ve created an id for the field, then tried things like #Country ::placeholder{color:red!important;} (red was just a test color) but nothing works.
I need to have the placeholder text in #70Ebbb, and all the drop-down countries in black, but I think I’ve been through every combination of wpcf7 form stuff and cannot find an answer. A developer friend suggests a JavaScript function that would “listen” for a change in the value of Country and would change the colour of the text within the drop down menu depending on the new value. Surely there must be an easier answer?
Any ideas? Cheers, James.
