I have several sites that use a subdirectory for the actual WordPress installation and the site. This use to be a very common practice and still is in some circles as it allows the WordPress installation to stay pure and very easily manageable with tools like Composer and others.
However, it appears that the support forums and other sites are littered with problems concerning Jetpack and more importantly WooCommerce not being able to connect back.
The issue also represents itself as an xmlrpc connection issue.
I have checked high and low; and cannot find a way to change the behavior or allow for Jetpack and Woocommerce and www.remarpro.com site in general to connect back to my site.
I have this occurring on three sites that are using a new layout / design setup that uses a subdirectory for the actual WordPress installation files.
I know many others have seen this issue.
Can someone help me with how they ended up resolving it?

I would like to know If I need to use the Meta pixel for WordPress alongside this plugin. It seems that by using this plugin alone, not all events are being tracked correctly.
I used the Meta Pixel Helper to analyze my pages, and it is showing a warning which I don’t understand:
Pixel Helper found your Meta Pixel, but the pixel has not been activated for this event and no information has been sent to Meta. This may be due to an error in the code or if the pixel fires on a dynamic event, such as a button click.

or am I missing something?

]]>The Jetpack > Dashboard > Connections area says the site is connected. In WordPress.com I can see the site’s stats etc, so the connection is active.
When trying to add a Bluesky account to the Social section of Jetpack however, I am consistently receiving this message:
You need to be logged in to WordPress.com to complete this action. Please ensure you are logged in to the same account you used to connect Jetpack to your site.
I’ve troubleshot this as follows:
None of these changes has made any difference.
How can I connect the site with Bluesky via Jetpack please?
]]>every time i click on synchronise, the green tick appears, but the error persists:
“We have detected potential connection errors for your site,?The Artistry of Jacques Pepin. A failed signup has been detected and will be retried automatically once a new connection has been established. Please visit your site and perform the steps to reconnect the plugin at your earliest convenience.”
Checked and I appear to have the current CC plugin installed. But, for some reason, plugin versions are not showing.
I don’t know what to do at this point. Help will be greatly appreciated.
]]>My site disconnected from Jetpack earlier this afternoon and I’ve been unable to reconnect it ever since, despite troubleshooting, and re-installing the plugin. I even tried re-connecting it on a different browser like Microsof Edge. When I click on connect my site, it’s stuck on “Connecting…” and when I click on Connect your user account, nothing pops up; only an error message on the bottom that says “An error occurred. Please try again.”
I think it might have been due to me clicking a button that updated my site to use https:// instead of HTTP:// – it was an upgrade suggestion from either JetPack or WP Site Health.
How do I reconnect my site again?
Thank you,
Jessica
