Error Message when connecting with FB

I have trouble when trying to establish the conncetion between facebook and WordPress.

I am experiencing the error that several other users seem to be experiencing as well.

When I try to finish the integration with facebook and should be forwarded to the wordpress admin section I instead encounter an error message that looks like this:

The app is shown in my facebook business manager, but does not appear in my wordpress/woocommerce plugin. It still says that I need to do the integration. The admin panel still looks like this:

And even after several attempts, I am not able to establish a connection. Help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I am having a issue with setting up a connection between my Dynamics 365 Integration plug-in and my Dynamics 365 CRM. I have used two different log-ons, one with a system admin access level and one that is primarily meant for sales and marketing support. Both should have sufficient access. With the support account I have created an app password that should allow for any conditional restrictions to be resolved. I’m including the error log for both types of sign-ins below this. I’ve been working at this and troubleshooting it for over week and would love to get it resolved.

WordPress Connection Errors

As of yesterday, I received a range of WordPress connection errors on my websites:

Akismet:
“Your firewall may be blocking Akismet.”

Jetpack:
“Outbound HTTPS not working” &
“Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.”

Add Plugin
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration.”

Add Theme:
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration.”

I have two WordPress websites hosted on Godaddy, both encountered these connection problems. I’ve not recently changed anything on the website. I created a fresh WordPress install (no plugins) in order to debug the problem and encountered the same errors.

All 3 websites have WordPress 4.5.3 installed. I’ve talked with Godaddy about the issue but had no success.

Can anyone assist?

Causes connection loss and "database connection error"

I love this plugin. I have had it for some time. I been having problems, but I use a lot of plugins on a MultiSite install -it took a while to isolate. It only effects the site it is activated in – connection errors.

I created a new subsite to use Qwizcards to avoid plugin conflicts. The same thing still happens:

It is clear that when I activate Qwizcards the site it is activated on grinds slowly to a stop. If I am working on a page/post on that site I get “connection error… – saving post in browser…”. If I try to move within the site, the page/post tries to load and I will eventually get “database connection error”.

This is premature to post. I admit – I do have network activated plugins. It will be a messy hassle to deactivate/activate the network ones. I will deactivate the unimportant ones first.

Either way – I’d inform you of the issue. Whether I figured it out or not. So I will post this thread.

Database connection Errors – at wits end

Greetings,

I currently have wordpress installed on a linux server (WP, MySQL, PHP). When I try to access the database locally with a fully qualified domain name as DB_HOST, I have no issues.

I also have wordpress installed on a remote server (WP, PHP, no DB). with the wp-config pointing at the DB on the local installation with the same credentials.

I have enabled access for the db user and I have executed the following command on the DB server:

setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect=1

Question, does this command need to be executed on both ends, or only on the DB server.

When using telnet, I can connect bi-directionally with both servers.

when I try to access the blog from the remote server, I get a database connection error.

I am at my wits end. Does anyone have any advice or other places to check?

Encountered Error with Fresh 4.2 Multisite Install

Hey there,

I recently purchased dedicated hosting space so that I could set up an wordpress multisite. I created a wildcard subdomain in cPanel and followed the instructions to the “T” in the wordpress documentation for setting up Multi-site.

That said, I’m getting really weird problems! My MySQL database has a user with “ALL” permissions, yet when I do the steps to create new sites inside my Multisite:
1. I get an empty entry in the dashboard dropdown underneath my main site. (As if it sees a site, but won’t show it’s name)
2. I click on the “Dashboard” and it just keeps bringing me to the default site’s dashboard.
3. When I go to “subdomain.mysite.com” I get a “Cannot Connect to Database” error.
4. When I do a repair on the DB it tells me that I’m missing tables and that it can’t create them.

My theory is that the newest release of wordpress has an issue creating the tables for new sites in Multisite, and I’m truly at a loss for getting it to work.

I spent 8 hours today searching all the issues with installing Multi-site and have never come across this issue in this fashion. Usually, people have incorrect permissions for creating tables in their DB or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
