Hi, I currently use autoptimze , asyc javascript and wp optimize. I keep getting a report from wordpress saying they are getting errors from wp optimize and although i like using it, I want to replace it. I like to use it for compressing images. But my site is still slow in Google speed insights. 17 mobile / 35 desktop roughly.

Please can you advise the best two plugins for speed, clean up and compress that are FREE.

I use Airi theme.

Usually, when I have to get an API it takes 30 or 40 minutes to sort out, this time it was done in 2 minutes flat.

Add to that great automated compression with backed up graphics and I really can’t fault this plug in.

Serving Scaled Images?

I’ve been running page speed tests on my site, and this message continues to appear and bring my score down:

The following images are resized in HTML or CSS. Serving scaled images could provide 81% reduction in size.

Here is an example of one of the images:

Is there a way to scale these images or somehow optimize them better so I can improve my site?

Do not listen to the poor reviews for this plugin. You want it. It is freaking awesome. If you just have one site, the free version may be all you need!
