Composite Item Stock Status

I have the free version of composite products installed. I have been experimenting with the module and so far looks good. One thing I have noticed is when I add products to a composite grouping there is nothing to show if an item is in stock or out of stock when customers are making a product selection.

The demo shows some items as “out of stock” and the item is greyed out so it cant be selected. I do not have this on out of stock items.

The setup I would like is for each product in the list of available products to show the current stock status with any “out of stock” items still able to add as a back order item. All simple products are set to allow back order and alert customer. Even to have the current stock of each item show when it has been selected would be good.

Composite Product – Scroll to gallery instead of summary

Hello everyone,

I’m using the amazing Composite Product and Composite Conditional Image Plugin.

After selecting a variation/option, it scrolls automatically to a selection summary but, since im also using composite conditional image and gallery changes everytime an option is selected i need it to scroll to the very top of the webpage to see how images are chaging.

I’ve tried about everything, debugging, looking into frontend JS but i cant identify how to do so.

Any suggestion, help? thank you all

Price Not Updating with Subscriptions

I have created a composite product that includes products with subscriptions, however the price on the single page and in the cart summary will only update with the monthly recurring fee, not the initial sign up fee.

For example, if on the composite product page, I select a select a subscription product that has a $50 sign up fee and a $20 subscription fee, the price shown on the page will increase by the $20 subscription amount instead of by the $50 sign up fee amount.

The cart totals section on the cart page shows the correct amount with the $50 sign up fee in the subtotal section.

Is it possible to have the sign up fee show up in the single product page and cart summary total instead of the subscription amount?

Hide products related to composite in Delivery Note and Invoice

My store has simple and composite products, I want to hide the elements that are included in the composite so that only the main composite item and the other items not related to it are shown.

I have tried to modify the package slip template but I have not been successful.

WPC Composite Product does not add to cart

I have recently installed the WPC Composite Product plugin, and while the majority of its features seem to be functioning as expected, I’ve run into a specific problem. Whenever I try to add a product to the cart using this plugin, the page merely refreshes and the product doesn’t get added to the cart.

I’ve already tried troubleshooting the problem on my end by deactivating other plugins and ensuring that there are no conflicting scripts, but the issue persists.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or solutions you can offer to resolve this. If you require any further details or logs to assist in the diagnosis, please let me know.

Incompatibility with Booster Multicurrency (Currency Switcher)

I’ve been using WPC Composite Products plugin (free) for a couple of weeks. Then I purchased Booster Elite, and after activating the Multicurrency (Currency Switcher) plugin, I started getting strange behaviour.

Essentially, it works fine in my WooCommerce base currency (ZAR), but when I switch to any other currency, the cart seems to double-divide (not exactly, but something like that) the numbers for the components, and only adds the component prices, so if someone sets the currency to USD, they can purchase the composite product for something like 1/19th of the price.

I tried all the compatibility settings for Multicurrency (Currency Switcher), including the “WPC Product Bundles” checkbox, and no difference. When I tried the “Save Calculated Products Prices” checkbox, it looks better, but then the cart totals are adding up the main composite product price, as well as the component prices, which ends up doubling the price…

I’ve also tried different settings on the WPC Composite Products, but they all seem to end up with the same result (except I did make some things look better).

For now I have set the Multicurrency Switcher to revert to the default currency at the cart and checkout pages. It works fine like that, but I was hoping this would work so that we can process payments in different currencies.

I might also try switching to WPC Product Bundles to see if I can get the same or better functionality out of that.? Apparently it might be more compatible with Multicurrency Switcher.

PS – I was previously using WooCommerce Currency Converter widget (now deactivated), and that worked fine, as it only makes aesthetic changes on the frontend, and doesn’t actually change the checkout currency. I’d prefer to stop paying for that license so I can make the best use out of my Booster license.

Seeking storefront plugin form builder with composite functionality

Hi. I’m seeking some informed feedback to find a solution to my storefront issue.

I have a pretty complicated storefront project underway and the problem I’m having is I can’t find a solution which encompasses everything I need to do. Some Add-On apps have a few and others have the rest but I haven’t found a solution which has everything I need in one package.

What I need in a solution.

1. I’m seeking a composite storefront solution. Rather than pricing each variation of product I want to price the customization itself (many of these are print products which can have thousands of combinations) – So each customization would be selectable and that selection would change the final price.

2. I’m seeking something with form builder functionality. I have used things like Fluentforms to create conditional contact forms on different websites. Something with a functionality like that which would allow me to build out the checkout and order forms line by line would likely be the easiest solution for me.

3. These products come in set quantities (250, 500, 1,000, etc.) rather than 1,2,3,4,5,etc. Most of the options I found which did most of what I was looking for did not offer this. It instead only allowed quantity through single item amounts from 1 through 25 or so.

4. If your suggestion includes modifying a plugin with code, I’m more than comfortable doing that. I was mostly just trying to find something out of the box which would do what I need but I can work with whatever you think is a fix.

5. Can be either paid for freeware. I don’t mind paying for something if it offers everything I need for the shop.

I appreciate you taking the time and look forward to your suggestions.

Coupon restrictions not working

I don’t want to allow customers to add coupons to their orders that contain composite products. So I chose the option in the settings

WPClever >> Composite Products >> in “Coupon Restriction” option
Exclude both composites & component products: No coupons can be applied to composite products.

but upon testing it’s still allowing coupons to be applied in checkout , please help I need to launch this product in 2 days!

Plugin allows to remove required product from a WPC Composite Product

Hello folks,

as the Title says. The plugin does not obey the “required” property of the WPC Composite Product plugin. So customers can order invalid Product Composites.

I launched two news composite products on my shop yesterday.
There were no problems when I tested it.
Since this morning (I believe there has been an update of the extension), NO ONE is ordering because when clicking on the “add to cart” button, here is the error page I get :
