Blank spacing above compact albums

Hello,

I use compact albums to display my photos. Unfortunately every compact album starts with an unwanted big blank space in the article. Is there a way to remove it?

All my photo articles are built the same:

Text
Photo
[nggalbum id=xxx template=compact]

And between the photo and the album I get a huge blank space that just does not look very good.

Seems someone had quiet an similar problem, but with galleries instead of albums:

… but the custom CSS in this thread did not work for my problem.

Hi,
I have a dussin of (compact) albums displaying over 3 columns. The problem is that the last row is always positioned slightly more to the left then the other rows. How to fix that?

I recently upgraded and my compact albums are not there anymore? I can see compact album under settings, but when I am on a page and try to add a new gallery it only shows four style options to select “basic thumbnails” “basic slideshow” “basic Imagebrowser” and “basic tagcloud” How do I insert a “compact album”??

I’ve even tried to enter a gallery using shortcode [ngg_images gallery_ids=”1″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_compact_album”] and it does not work.

I can’t seem to find a way or setting to make the albums in Nextgen Gallery display in a grid format. They only display in one column no matter what size the thumbnail I set.

Any solutions?

I hope you can help me. Im pretty new to wordpress so maybe thats why i cant find the right setting.
I want to make an album page where there is 3 albums horizontaly alligned and then i continues on a new line but i can only make i vertical and 1 album pr. line.. Can someone help me fix my problem?

I am looking for a plugin where I can have thumbnails in rows of 5 or 6 and about 4 or 5 columns on a single gallery page. When you click on each thumbnail, it reveals a gallery of images(wedding). Also need to be able to add a short description below each thumbnail.
Can Phot Gallery do this either free or paid version?

So, i want to increase album compact size thumbnails because default are too small.
I added this code, and it works, but it decreasing thumbnail quality:

I hope you can understand my English!

I have created an album with 2 Galleries.

If I insert this album on my website, on load in the Breadcrumbs are displayed the wrong Name. It Shows the Name of an Gallery where is not in the Album.

On the Site it shows on Load the Album Name: “One Billion Rising”, this is the Name auf a Gallerie where is not in the Album. The Real Album Name is “Winterlichter 2016 Luisenpark Mannheim”

Where do I find the css .ngg-album-desc?

I am trying to increase the font size of the Album Title. I am using the Compact Album. using the inspector in my browser it calls the class .ngg-album-desc. I have been unable to locate it in the ngggallery.css. It shows up under the h4 tag which is excluded in the CSS. Any help would be appreciated. https://clearcreekbowmen.com/?page_id=293

nextgen basic compact album not working other issue

Hi,
i tried to activate nextgen basic compact album to show caption under images.
I select this and when i choose my gallery in “what would you like to dislay”, this template disappear and i have noticed that is selected “nextgen basic thumbnails” by default.
I tried many times, also using shortcode. Not working.

I have had a lot of problem with this plugin, i also found some errors in nextgen admin panel, and it is always active wp_chron.

Here some errors (shown when I did a gallery search):
