Profile Settings Page

Michael,

The sub-page “Settings” in a users profile on my site is a bit of an eye sore. I am running the latest version of buddypress, badgeos, and the community add on. When I deactivate the community add on the Settings page looks nice, but when I activate the community add on it causes repetition in wording and I’d prefer to just appear as if it were deactivated, but I of course want it active. Is there a way I can disable all of the community add on Settings page information from being listed?

BadgeOS Profile and Comunity Addon seeting for MU sites

Hello,
I am using latest versions of Badge OS, Buddypress and community add-on plugins across mu networked sites with bp_enable_multiblog active.

I would like all the badges earned to show in the members profile under Achievements of the members “home” sites profile. Currently they are only showing the the sub-folder site “forum” user profile.
It is however working for Activity stream (site-wide across the network) as the badges earned by a member are appearing on the Activity Stream of the “home” site.

I can confirm that “Achievement Types” options are active for both “When a user earns any achievements of this type create an activity entry on their profile.” and “Display earned achievements of this type in the user profile “Achievements” section.”

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Community Add-On Private

Hi. I am running the BadgeOS community add-on with BuddyPress and BBpress. I also installed a plugin to make sure all community posts are private, which works fabulous. The only thing that is leaking out to non-logged in users are the listing of achievements. When someone in my learning community posts a blog comment, nonlogged in users can click on the link of their post user name and access a listing of when they earned badges, a description of those badges and an icon of the badge.

Is there a way to make these achievements private?

Plug-in will not 'activate'

Hi there,

I have just installed the BadgeOS Community Add-On and click ‘activate plug-in’ when presented with the option.

But the plug-in doesn’t activate.

I got down to the list of plug-ins and click ‘activate.’

But the plug-in still doesn’t activate.

Can you please help?!

Multisite with Buddypress: Community Add-on crashing top site

We are using a WordPress multisite installation with Buddypress. We are using (or want to us) Badge OS with credly integration. We need the Community Add-on enabled to have the achievements show in the user’s buddypress profile and in the activity stream.

Community ADD-on disfunction:

Immediately upon activating network-wide, our Top-level “Commons” site is unavailable and redirects to the subsite “Instructional Designers”. We are even unable to get into the dashboard.

As soon as I deactivate network-wide, everything returns to normal.

Further testing:

We deleted the ID site, and tested again, with the same results but now Commons was pointing to our “Blackboard users” subsite.

I tried network- deactivating both, and activating both just on Common site, which didn’t break anything, but looks like Community isn’t functioning at all (no option to add “community activity in the badges, no activity added to the user’s stream, no “Achievements ” tab added to profile, etc.)

We did have this working some months ago.

I tried updating to Community 1.1.1 with no progress. There seems to be a glitch that we cannot get past.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
