most importantly it is pages only with no posts or blogs.
have narrowed it down to 1. post name 2. custom structure /%postname%/ 3. custom structure / 4. other alternatives

]]>I’m noticing for the first time, all the pages I’m creating have “index.php” in the permalinks.
For example, I’m working on this page:
vitalthrive.us/index.php/about/
So when I created this about page, instead of it saying
vitalthrive.us/about, it reads, “vitalthrive.us/index.php/about/”
I feel confused and need understanding please.
I have gone into settings>permalinks and tried to change the”Common Settings” to “Plain” and then the page didn’t show.
I feel curious and would like to understand, how can I create pages that have just a normal permalink and why is the “index.php” is showing up in there?
Thank you WP community!
]]>The link structure is:
www.domain.com/product-category/[categoryname]
Why? the pre-category “product-category” is so unnecessary. Also SEO-unfriendly.
I have this permalink-setting:
common settings: postname (it doesn’t work by clicking on a category)
productpermalink base: custom -> %product_cat% (it works for products)
If I change the common settings to standard, it works. But it isn’t SEO-friendly (many “?” and “=”)!

]]>1) Is is normal?
2) Navigation seams to be slower when I use another settings than the default one, wnat can I do to avoid that?
3) Should I use a “Custom Structure” to indicate only page names, something like “/sample-post”?
Thanks a lot, WordPress rocks!
