I notice many authors mention the images in their themes/plugins are copyright.
Does the copyright override the GPL, to mean I cannot legally use/share the images when sharing the plugin/theme with others? Or include the images when making/selling derivative plugins/themes using the original images?
I understand the price paid for commercial themes/plugins is voluntary based on the rules applied by GPL, but does that extend to images in the plugin/themes as well?
Some clarification on this would be appreciated. Please keep all replies to legal (objective) responses, not ethical/moral (subjective) responses.
Thank you.

If the provider can white label the themes for me, even better. For example, I could have a link with mydomain.com/themes where they could be seen.
There is a list of approved commercial theme providers here, but it is too long to research each one of them.

Thanks in advance for any advice, recommendations and comments!
