New comments notifications from different emails

Hello,

I have WpMandrill setup in my site and it works very well. But for some reason the comments notifications email are sent using [email protected] while every other emails are sent using the email I have put in the wpmandrill settings page.

?Can anyone help me in making these emails to be sent from the right email?

Hi buddy,

Excellent on our website (www.avisdupublic.net). But there is a little thing which could be provided, I think, or maybe it does not work totally for me. I do not receive any notification when a comment is posted on social media (Facebook or G+, in my case).

Is it possible to add this ?

I don’t understand where to configure the email address for jetpack comments — i can see the email address in the Settings>Discussion area but that’s not the address jetpack is sending my comments notifications. There must be some other field, right?

Please, we are using WP as CMS and we are looking for a way how to customize the comments notification e-mail recipient.

By default, the post author’s e-mail is being used for comments notification. But we need a custom e-mail, or (even better) comma-separated list of e-mails on which to send the notification about new comments. Not only the post author’s e-mail.

How to do it please? Any plugin? Or is there some hook to (that some) WP e-mail notification function which could we use?

Comment notification stopped working

Any idea why my email notifications on new comments stopped working? I have had the Setting “Email me when Anyone posts a comment” checked from the beginning of my blog. It’s only been in the last week or so that I’ve noticed I’m not getting email notifications.

The only thing I’ve done to my blog is add Aweber for people to subscribe to my blog, but that shouldn’t affect Comments, should it?

notification of recent comments in admin bar?

Greetings everyone!

WordPress now has a nice feature, displaying the number of comments awaiting moderation on the admin bar. Can we somehow make it notify us of all recent comments, not just those awaiting moderation? It would be handy, so that we can reply to commenters without delays.

If possible, please guide me to how to do this..

Change content of notification email for comments

I am wishing to edit the contents of the notiification emails that are sent to both the administrator and author when a new comment is posted. Where would i go to change this or is there a plugin that will enable me to?

Comment notification going to wrong email (not admin)

This was working fine until recently – all of a sudden the comment notification email the my installation of WP (2.6.2) sends is no longer going to the admin address (mine) but instead are going to one of my blog author’s email address!

The only change is that I recently installed bbPress in a subdirectory of my WP installation, and integrated it with WP so that it shares a user database. It doesn’t make sense that this should “change” where my comments notifications emails go to, but that is the only changes I’ve made.

Can someone tell me if there is a fix for this? I don’t want my authors to be getting the emails that are supposed to come to me…..

Thanks for any help anyone can offer………and for the record, I did read all of the posts on the topics dealing with the cessation of comments notification, but they did not seem to apply to my situation, which is just the sudden change of where they go.
