I’ve restored backups using UpDraft from weeks ago when the site was fine and still I’m getting the same issue so it seems like something has maybe changed with Jetpack?
I’m looking at possibly changing themes to “Toocheke” which is a similar type of theme as “Panel” but I hope I haven’t lost the copy that went along with my 100+ comics with each of the custom posts…
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

]]>[comic-archive list=0 thumbnail=1]
If the chapter thumbnail image had a link to the start of the chapter I would be set. I managed to get it LOOKING how i want it. But I really need these tiles to link to the start of each chapter.
The only way I can think to do this would be… frustrating and time consuming- creating a custom walker in php to traverse all the pages and generate the tiles for me. I am already going to have to do that for the somewhat elaborate ‘characters’ page and would like to avoid extra work on something as simple as a chapter select, if possible.
does anyone have any advice for doing this quickly and easily?
]]>my work is tagged into different chapters, and when you click on a chapter, the work is listed, but again when you click on a comic, it appears twice.
the latest comic posted also appears on the contact page, twice.
I’d like to know why comics are appearing twice, and also, if possible to stop latest comic automatically posting above the media in the contact page (or whatever home page i designate).
Any help much appreciated. It is driving me crazy!!
]]>I have a client that’s still using the old Comicpress 2.5 theme and I want to move them over to Webcomic. They have over 2k+ comic posts so I’ve been researching how to convert in bulk. I don’t want to break their urls or have to do a lot of manual work if I can help it. Is there a way to do this?
My first plan was to convert everything to Comics Easel then migrate those posts to webcomic using the old plugin. But I’m unable to find any kind of guide on how to do that without losing the attached image or url.
I could hack it by switching the post type using a post type switcher plugin. But it looks like comics easel uses the featured image for the comic itself while Webcomic uses a custom media type. So I’d have to manually re-attach images.
With all this in mind, how would you recommend I do this? Is there a way to preserve their year/month/day permalink structure or will I have to write a custom .htaccess redirect?
]]>So, therefore, I have the potential of ending up with A LOT of collections taking up space on my primary Dashboard left nav bar: SL English, SL German, SL French, SL Spanish, etc.
Can you perhaps add an option for the user to specify whether they want their collections to show as top-level links in the Dashboard as they currently do, or to have them placed on a page of their own? Example: Collections > inside would be links to all the collections to edit.
Or just change the top-organization level of Collections generally so all go on their own Collections page to be accessed? I know this is a lot of work for recording, but still submitting it as a feature request or functional change. Thanks for considering.
