This is the home page of a theme I just purchased today. This page (and others) has code written in both the Visual and Text sections of the page. I am not tech savvy and don’t know if I can delete this or not. Is this normal procedure?

Hi all,

I just took over the webmaster of our website. But somehow due to poor documentation, the code looks like a myth, in terms of where each part of the code is located. I was wondering if there were any ways to easily locate different parts of the code (e.g. I tried event listeners in Chrome dev tool) in wordpress.

Search bar size code location for the TwentyTwelve Template

I have been looking for a good hour now for the location of the size peramiters for the search bar (I want to make it larger and move it to the rite on my static front page.)

If any one knows where its located please let me knowm, alos if you know how to move the search box closer to the centre of a static front page please let me know also.

in what file are username and password located

When I link to www.my-domain-name/wp-admin I’m prompted for username and password. The only such I’ve used creating the site aren’t recognized. For example, those used to create the MySQL database which are now in the wp-config file. In which file(wp-login, etc.) and precisely where in that file are the username and password for which the program tests? Knowing that, they have to work in the aforementioned prompt since they’re the values the code tests for.

Also, in what file is my email address?
