We got this plugin and used some of the features to clean our old files, Instead it moved things around and jeopardized my database.

I was luch to find an old database backup to restore my files.

I have used other plugins that were great but this is 100% GARBAGE

I use this plugin on practically all sites I’ve made. It’s wonderful and easy to work with. This review though was written in wonder why there are so many updates lately.

uninstall email subscribers

I need to completely uninstall the email subscribers plugin and start again. Just deleting the plugin has not removed the database tables and content.

The original problem was some 26 million rows of data being generated in the tables which caused my hosting provider to take my database off-line until the size was reduced. I had no choice but to empty the biggest tables to get back on line.

I now want to start again – clean the database, install the plug-in, import the subscribers, configure the emails etc etc.

Please advise how to do this? Do you have a script for this? If I need to empty and or delete tables via PHPMyAdmin please list the tables that I should empty/delete.

Uninstall Mailpoet 2 after migrating to Mailpoet 3

I succesfully migrated from Mailpoet 2 to Mailpoet 3. I don’t need Mailpoet 2 anymore, it’s just confusing for my client, and there’s no need to keep the only newsletter that has been sent with Mailpoet 2.

How do I uninstall Mailpoet 2, and clean the database (remove unnecessary tables and data)?

This plugin does clean things up. But, if you don’t know what all those various files are, you could find you have deleted things you didn’t intend to. I was happy, thinking I could clean up a lot of extra bits of this and that and maybe have more space in the database. But, somehow this clean up decimated my collected resource links for my site. More than half are gone. I don’t even see any order to how they were removed. But, it’s probably fixable, in time.

I don’t blame the plugin for this. But, I am wishing I had not tried it.

Developer is a Genius! Can’t live with out this plugin, It cleans everything beautifully. I wish my husband was this well trained, on second thoughts I might stuff him on a flight and send him over to the developer David Anderson for a bit of re-programming! Thank you for this plugin David, It’s 1st class and obviously excellent. * * * * * * A six Star plugin for sure.
