Clash with Plugin

Hi –

I am in the process of migrating my site to your theme, but it is causing an odd issue with my Membership plugin.

If you go to https://test.awa-uk.org.uk/register/personal-disabled/ on a mobile device (or tablet in portrait mode) and touch in the date of birth field, instead of the normal nice calendar style box, the dates and months all end up in one massive line! I have contacted the plugin developers, but they say that the issue is being caused by the theme and not their plugin.

I need to get this sorted ASAP, as our membership is largely made up of people with disabilities, and I need the site to be as user friendly as possible, which is why I have chosen to migrate to this theme!

I just love it. It does so much more than other security plugins! But it does not clash with them

nitropack clash with Events Calendar

I ‘d like to use Nitropack, and it seemed to work, but when I added a new event in the Events Calendar, it didn’t show on the website. Then I deactivated Nitropack, added the event and activated Nitropack again, which worked initially, but now this doesn’t work anymore. Is there a solution?

I use Events Calender in combination with Events Shortcodes for the Events Calendar.

Conflict with WP-Fail2ban

With WP-Fail2ban installed and active, the Theme My Login login page does not forward to the WP dashboard.

Steps to reproduce:

Install Theme My Login
Install and set up WP_Fail2ban
Enter login details into the Theme My Login login page
Press Log In button: redirection to dashboard does not occur
Add /wp-admin to URL in browser’s address bar: dashboard loads, showing that user has logged in

WooCommerce clash

I recently added WooCommerce plug in to my wordpress v 6.1.1 site and found there was a clash. Once loaded, coding messages appeared on my website.

The theme is Astra 4.0.0 PHP 8.0.

Any suggestions as to what I can do to add an ecommerce page to my site?

Zip Plugin Clash w/ Elmentor

Hi,

I’ve recently updated my staging website and found that the Woocommerce Zip plugin clashes with the more recent versions of Elementor – this occurs on any page regardless of whether the Zip plugin should be present, of note there are 2 errors present on every page of the website due to this plugin “Function wp_register_script was called incorrectly“.

The clash with Elementor causes my website fonts to break & the Elementor editor refuses to load unless I disable the Zip plugin, i’ve rolled back Elementor and found the issue present in older versions.

WordPress: 6.1.1

Woocommerce: 7.2.2

Elementor: 3.9.2

Zip Plugin: 2.3.16

PHP: 8.0

Redirect – permalink clash

Hi John,
I noticed a problem with redirects that have the url identical to a post permalink.
Basically this happened to me:
– in September Redirection URL Monitor generated a redirect after the rename of a post.
– in November another post was created with the same permalink as the redirect created in September.

Neither WP nor Redirection reported the problem and we noticed it only when the post was online.

how can this be avoided?

Prevent double booking

If I create a venue for an event is there any way to prevent it being double booked? So if there is an event at venue A from 8-10 on 1/4/21 then no-one else can add a new event at that venue during that time?

Page builder plugin errors/clash

I have an issue on a multisite, with one page builder on a sub-site not saving & timing out, whenever I install & use a different page builder on another sub-site.

Tried removing & reinstalling the plugins. I’ve tried re-installing WordPress in Network Admin.

I can build a new server & migrate the old DB across & then the plugins will work OK on the new server instance, so it’s not a DB issue.

I can only assume that there are some core files & directories that need overwriting via FTP.

Could anyone help me to narrow down these files/directories that need replacing? I would not want to replace every core file within WordPress, as this would potentially be problematic

Using WP 5.6, Twenty Twenty theme, Maintenance and Woocommerce 4.8.0.

I get this error on the Maintenance settings page:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 311296 bytes) in /home/mywebsite.org.uk/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4755

and only
Page Title & Headline settings appear.
