I have a problem with related articles/posts in child pages.
I don’t know how exactly (playing with settings) I removed them from parent pages, but they are still present in child and sub-child pages.

Is there a way to remove them?

I am unable to modify the permalink behavior because the sm_xml_sitemap_post_url filter is applied before the site languages modifications by Polylang.
Just wanted to check few issues that we need to fix on a website we have just installed this plug-in
We want to create pages and then all subsequent child pages too, so for example we have /protected/ which is the landing page of the entire section.
Single login – When you use the password to enter the landing page, we want all subsequent child pages to be available to the user without having to re-enter the password every time.
Logged-in users – We want logged in users (admin, subscriber, etc.) to have access to these pages without having to enter password of any kind. The plugin allows this option, but then it asks us to enter another password for each type of user.
New pages – When another page is added as a child, we want it to automatically be protected using the same passwords and rules set for the parent page.
Appreciate your guidance.

]]>Here’s my main configuration:
WordPress 5.7.2
WPML Multilingual CMS 4.4.11
WMPL language URL format: Different languages in directories (due to BuddyPress)
Permalink Common Settings: day and name
Category base: ” (empty)
The problem first came up when I accidentally created 2 child pages with the same slug name (however different base slugs). The pages created in question were:
– Events – Submit (events/submit)
– Links – Submit (links/submit)
As soon as I did that, basically every new page created as a child page of the parent pages “Events” or “Links” 404’d when accessing, regardless of the slug. Creating normal top level pages still worked. After playing around with resetting permalinks etc., at one point it was suddenly back to normal.
After a while I installed WMPL and began translating pages, and now the issue came back with the same pages. This time, the slugs are a little bit different due to WMPL prepending the language in the URL, so for instance /en/events/submit.
I have tried / confirmed:
– Re-saving permalinks (custom -> default -> custom)
– That WP has access to my .htaccess
– That there are no dead sites in the trash with conflicting slugs
– That not .htaccess was the problem, because it works with the default permalinks (?p=XXX)
What else could I check for, do?

Many thanks.
