Out of nowhere, the email address field on the checkout page has disappeared. I did not do anything that caused this, all plugins are auto updated.

This issue was discovered when a customer notified me that international addresses are being rejected by the checkout page – throws an invalid address error or no shipping options available to an address that I had previously shipped to. I tinkered around with turning plugins on and off, and that resolved the address issue. And then I noticed that there is no email field on the checkout page, and no phone # field.

On the woocommerce→ orders page, where it used to show the customer name next to the order #, it is now blank.

I removed and re-installed my payment processor plugin with the newest version, that did not resolve the issue.

We noticed whenever a user is moving to the cart page ( “view basket” feature on the screenshot here: https://paste.pics/3f735d3af96914210e2b768ec1bd4014) instead of checkout first, it voids all enabled Flexible Shipping options. We are using Flexible Shipping by WP Desk.

When user is moving to checkout first then the cart page, the shipping is visible and displayed correctly.

Problem 2: I am unable to see Google pay option even though I have enabled it in the settings

I let users create an account on checkout,
The problem is, if they come back to make a second purchase with that same email address they will not be able to proceed.
They will be faced by the following error:
An account is already registered with your email address. Please log in.

Woocommerce basically tries to create an account and then of course throws this error because the email exists.

To remove this I used the following code. I works well for normal product. But it doesn’t work for woo subscriptions and woo memberships. The moment I activate any of these 2 plugins the following code stops working
